I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs while my parents both ordered the lasagna as it was described as buddy 's special recipe. My mother felt like they overdid it with the basil and my dad even commented that the food tasted like they were just getting rid of what they had for the season. My food came out 15 minutes later than the rest of my groups and there was no apology or acknowledgement from the waiter for the delay. The portion sizes of the different entrees varied widely a Caesar salad was quite small, my chicken piccata was medium size, and the chicken parm was huge. All food was acceptable tasting but not delicious or special by any means

We 've always wanted to try this place on our summer vacations, and tonight was the night. We came with a party of 11 and everyone loved their meals. The lasagna was especially good, as was the pasta with vodka sauce. The cod special was also outstanding. Not much else to say, just a really solid dining experience. We 'll definitely be adding Cate 's to our list of go to places in the Lake George area.
