"We had reservations for a table, but arrived early and sat at the bar for cocktails. Both bartenders were excellent so we decided to stay at the bar for dinner. Cocktails were top notch. Burrata Caponata and the grilled octopus apps were outstanding. I had the pork and my wife the duck, each were excellent. We would do the same dinner again without hesitation. Definitely worth a try"

"Hottest day of the year in Chicago and the AC was nonexistent! It was miserably hot, unbelievably loud and the service was painfully slow. We had to yell across the table to be heard making dinner conversation a chore. I had been here once before, and I had a good impression. It was not in the summer and not when it was super busy. "its been a while since eating here. was very disappointed with the menu selection, the food quality, and service. We were constantly being rushed. Hadn’t gotten 1/2 way through appetizers and they started clearing plates and food away, constantly rushing through coarses. the food quality was the most disappointing, the food was very subpar. I could’ve made a better meal. Ravioli was frozen, Cacio E Pepe was like noodles with butter, and it just was very basic, no flavor. Chicken Melanese greasy. Our server was nice but inattentive, and uncomfortably rushed us. So many other restaurants with better food and service. Skip it. this used to be a favor of ours. Sad to see it go doen the tubes, very disappointing."

I live no more than five minutes away and did not know that it existed until I found it after I sat the options on open table. it is extremely affordable, has a beautiful ambiente that is both domestic and romantic. the server were so friendly and attentive, and eating was also solid. 5 star experience."

"Good meal overall. Our server Maria was friendly and efficient. My husband ordered a side wedge salad and lasagna which he described as fine. I ordered the salmon salad which was very good however was served minus the asparagus. It was corrected in a reasonable amount of time so no complaints there. After the fact, I realized we were overcharged for the side salad. I called the next day and was assured the manager would call me back that day (I provided all the check and table information). When I had no response within a week I sent an email to corporate customer service. No response from them either. This is why customers stop patronizing restaurants. Something that was not a big issue has become one because of the lack of response. Shame on them."

"We have been pleased with BRIO restaurants in the past, but this was a disappointment. There were only about a dozen diners in the restaurant during the dinner hour. Even though it was a Monday evening, the mall was busy and I would have expected the restaurant to be the same. The service was slow and the food was mediocre.The stuffed chicken parm was overcooked and didn’t seem to be stuffed at all. The spaghetti carbonara was only fair. The highlight of our meal was a mushroom ravioli dish with a delicious cacio e pepe sauce. Don’t know if we would give this location another try."

"My girlfriend and I went here for NYE and it was horrible. Firstly, the menu was not what was advertised on OpenTable. It was a special NYE experience menu and none of the items we wanted to order were available. OpenTable advertised that we would get the regular menu but that was not the case. The service, atmosphere and food were all very bad. It took 10 minutes to get seated with a reservation and then about 15 minutes to get a drink once seated. It was not crowded and there were about 5 staff members just standing around doing nothing. This place advertises itself as having a romantic atmosphere but it was bright, loud, and unprofessional. We spent the whole time just waiting for the check so we could leave. The food was cold and bland and a complete waste of money."

"The food at the restaurant was delicious, but the portion sizes were not very large. We received only ten medium-sized tortellini with our order, and the octopus dinner special felt more like a generous appetizer. However, the dinner salads were a good value and everything tasted great. The service was just okay, as the waitress seemed distracted due to the busyness of the restaurant. The noise level was also very high, making it difficult to have a conversation. Even though we were seated in the back of the restaurant, the live music made it hard to hear each other."

"We wanted to love this place. The location is perfect and the reviews were great, so we decided to spend our anniversary here. Our server didn't bother to bring our waters until after our appetizer and salad had arrived. She was too busy chatting with coworkers on the slow Tuesday night. When she did bring our waters she brought my 3&5 year olds cups with no lids. Then My water sat empty for at least 20 minutes. The Focaccia was thin and incredibly burnt (beyond the normal wood fired crispiness). The salad was fine even if I did have to toss it and serve it out of the large bowl with a fork. The pasta was not tossed in the sauce prior to going in the oven so the noodles on top were burnt. The supreme pizza was awful. Even the spots that weren’t crispy tasted incredibly burnt. The middle of the pizza was wet like the olives and veggies hadn’t been drained first. It was inedible, not even my husband would eat it. Despite conveying this to our server we never heard from a manager and got a whopping 8% off of the pizza that sat there entirely uneaten."

"We booked this on the basis of the 4+ star OoenTable reviews. Food was good and tasty burrata, mushroom croquettes, patatas bravas, quinoa salad, and roasted brussel sprouts. Tapas can be pricy and these with a glass of wine topped $120 for two. Suggested tips on the bill were in the range 20 30%. Odd seating plan the front was almost deserted while the back was noisy. They forgot two of the tapas for over 30 minutes."
