"We had a great experience the Saturday evening we dined at Federal Grill. The host (manager? greeted us very warmly and checked back in with us at several points during the evening. Because it was a Saturday in FiDi it was pretty quiet which added to our enjoyment. The food was great FIRED CHICKEN interesting cocktails, friendly staff, lovely room."

"Made reservations on OpenTable to celebrate my husbands birthday. When we arrived, there was no wait time however, Our table seating was horrible. Seated Right next to the kitchen and in the midst of placing and picking up orders. Requested another table and informed that there were none available. We were sent at this small table that most of our belongings were not able to fit.The Pho appetizer was delicious however revived almost cold. We placed two appetizer orders and had to request pick up for both. Being seated next to the kitchen, we knew that our food was ready before our server. The noise level was terrible. We could hear conversations from all ends of the restaurant. The food was very good and tether expensive. Our bill was about 388 for my husband and I. The service charge was 60 dollars, which was not warranted. Nice decor however the seating made it impossible to enjoy. Probably will not return."

"This restaurant is a fantastic place to spend a weekend afternoon. They offer two exceptional dishes that I had never tried before and I don't understand why more people haven't tried them - a Benedict on a latke with house smoked salmon and a mock Benedict poutine (gravy instead of hollandaise). Both dishes were incredibly delicious, creative, and impressive. Combined with a great bar and being dog-friendly, I can't believe we don't visit this place more often."

"Food was mostly really great though I got the dumplings for my main and found them to be a little drier than expected. Everyone else was very happy with their meals and everything else I tasted was delicious. The servers were pretty good but less attentive than expected. Also, I very discretely have my CC to the server and they brought back the ticket on a hefty wooden clip and put it in front of me on the table. I would have much preferred they discretely handed it back to me to sign under the table plane so as not to make a point that I was picking up the check. Also it was a little too noisy for a business meal of more than 4 people. Also they asked if we wanted anything else but did offer up dessert menus. I’m personally not a dessert person, I just like to make sure everyone at the table gets a great meal and has dessert if they want. I’ll be back just not for a business meal or with more than a few people where I have to divert attention from conversation to flag down the check. The cocktails were probably the highlight for me so a this place will be perfect for a 2-3 person cocktail, dinner situation before or after an event."

"Cozy and vibrant wine bar. Definitely great for a second date or spot to have a drink and kill some time.The host and staff were super nice and flexible even though we told them we were just killing our time before our parking ended and it was cold outside.We had a long list of wines to go through and got cozied up and drank. Some great selections of domestic beers. Will be back again, unfortunately did not try the food but it sounded very nice."

"What an absolutely amazing restaurant. This has to be, hands down, the best mexican food restaurant in Austin. Not only is the food traditional Mexican cuisine, but it's full of flavor, and it comes in great presentation. They make all the tortillas and masa in-house. I can't stress how tasty everything was. Every dish just got better and better. From the queso flameado to the ceviche tonthe cochinita pivil to the dessert. It's absolutely amazing."

I walked in and 4 of the waitress (personnel) did not welcome me, except the rudeness blond person that say What you Want moreover, yelling from the frozen juice beverage to the cash register where I was standing by she said there is the menu..!! grab one . "First time try out many good reviews on Yelp. Ordnete Lobster Benedict with fresh fruit as a side. The taste of the Lobster and Benedikt were very delicious. The chopped eggs are well done. The Cheeseburger is also quite delicious. However, the service is only OK. Our server disappeared after we served our food. Nobody wanted to ask us how the good was going. We also waited a long time to get a check after we finished our meals as the check had to be present from our service. Bottom line: good food but OK service so my 3.5 star rating (can not 3.5) review for service"

"I always take out food here and it is always cold and hard especially the tacos, On Taco Tuesdays !!!. They estimate pickup time too long and that is why food gets cold by the time food is picked up. This is a kitchen nightmare. Tacos got too expensive as well, almost $3 for a single street taco, really! Their entire food menu items actually just rose in price! As for me, no more take out from this place!"
