"Food was mostly really great though I got the dumplings for my main and found them to be a little drier than expected. Everyone else was very happy with their meals and everything else I tasted was delicious. The servers were pretty good but less attentive than expected. Also, I very discretely have my CC to the server and they brought back the ticket on a hefty wooden clip and put it in front of me on the table. I would have much preferred they discretely handed it back to me to sign under the table plane so as not to make a point that I was picking up the check. Also it was a little too noisy for a business meal of more than 4 people. Also they asked if we wanted anything else but did off...

What an outstanding meal. The server didn’t know much about the wine list but her manager was amazing. We closed the place down for a business meal and enjoyed every minute. Great food.

Food is excellent . Service was good . Ambiance was ok. Table is very bare and trying to get a napkin was somewhat of an ordeal . For as pricy as the restaurant is I feel like they need to step it up a notch on multiple things

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Citizen Rail and I’m very glad to report that it’s still an excellent restaurant. I love sitting at the chef’s counter. It’s like dinner and a show! I had the hamachi cruedo to start. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. I followed it with the Ribeye which cooked perfectly and huge! It came with long stem broccoli and duck fat roasted potatoes. Quite a deal for $61! I loved it all. I took about half home and made two more meals out of it. I’m already looking forward to going back.

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"
