"I ordered takeout from this location and please believe they do not disappoint. My co workers and myself ordered the Arugula salad with shrimp Thank me later). Everything was perfect! Normally other restaurants rush you off the phone when you are ordering but Nope! not here. Nari was very patient and helpful! My co worker is very picky and he was so understanding and nice. The Salad had the perfect amount of dressing shrimp was definitely Seasoned. I would have taken a picture of the food but it looked so good, I had to DIG IN!"

"So the family and I went for dinner and it was delicious we had , calamari ,clam chowder , calzone and a pizza ... Let me tell you if you like calzones like I do it's top tier in taste it comes with dipping sauce that was fire .. they made a mistake with the pizza but it wasn't a big deal they just added pineapple but I was my fault I told them pineapple at first but then the kids just wanted pepperoni it was delicious and they even gave us a free dessert. You won't regret eating here!!!!"

"I keep giving this place a try but unfortunately it's a hit or miss. Ordered broccoli rabe with garlic and oil and added shrimp for $5...Shrimp was missing, pasta was dry and seemed almost old or reused and wost of all there was a huge clump of nasty driedold cheese (that had bits of debris not found throughout the dish...only on the cheese clump) in the middle (i have a dairyallergy and can't eat cheese) the entire item was inedible. Sticking with John's Pizza on Parsons from now on."

"Order lunch from this place periodically. The food is not consistent. Sometimes it is amazing, sometimes it’s just alright.One somewhat annoying part is that you don’t always get charged the same price for the same thing. Sometimes it is about a $1 or $2 more than in the menus. Not a huge deal, but it is kind of annoying. You don’t know if the person overcharging you by mistake, because they don’t remember the correct price or if that’s done on purpose. A $1 or 2 on a $10 order is 10-20% difference. Other than that, this place is OK for occasional ordering."

"My daughter and I dine here regularly and we sit inside and hear the interactions with customers. I don’t understand the bad reviews. These guys are so neighborhood/ family oriented. Their food is great. They are not using the nasty waxy cheese that most places use. Not to mention their wraps and other food is always yummy and made the right way. I don’t even mind if it takes them a while when they are busy because my food is always delicious and they are friendly and talk to us while we wait. When we go in, we are greeted warmly and served like family and when we order delivery, the drivers are always super nice and the food is always still hot."

"We were seated promptly for our reservation even though the restaurant was busy, so they know how to organize their tables. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and made some nice suggestions for our daughter, who had trouble choosing. "I'm not one that is easily impressed by most restaurants, as most are simply the same. The food is best, the noise level is one in which you can scream a lot to a conversation with the one you sit on your table, the variety of spices they choose, in their kitchen is minimal and the food is generally either tasteless or oversalted. The selection, service and food have impressed me very much. Gus, the face of the facility came by to talk to my friend, and I, to find out what brought us in and what we were looking for in our culinary experience, offers a few choices on the way. As soon as the food came, it was not disappointed, and his descriptions were not only accurate, but spot on. We separated a Tiramisu three ways and it was one of the best Tiramisu I had ever been in Italy. I hope to find them to be consistent as if that were the case, I am sure my husband and I will be customers again. Thank you for a nice evening. (Side Note: Shannon, our server, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, a refreshing surprise for someone as young as she seemed."

"I have been sick for three days, so my lack of appetite wasn't the restaurant's fault. However, when I finally felt a bit hungry and decided to follow my girlfriend's suggestion to have a nutritious meal, I was disappointed. The chicken in my Caesar salad was served in a thin, unappetizing piece rather than chopped up. The portion consisted of only 4 croutons and about 10 pieces of wilted lettuce, all wrapped in a quesadilla-like style for $12. It seemed like the dish was haphazardly put together, as if a 10-year-old had made it on a whim. To make matters worse, the salad was assembled with dressing, lettuce, and all in a microwave, resulting in a soggy mess that was completely inedible. It's frustrating when a restaurant doesn't seem to care about the quality of their food. If you're not going to put effort into making a dish properly, then just don't offer it on the menu. Customers come to eat because they are hungry and relying on the restaurant to provide a satisfying meal. This kind of disregard for customer satisfaction is simply disrespectful."

"We placed an order at a cookie place called Cookie Lunch but never received it. After waiting for 3 hours, we went to their location only to find out that it wasn't a real business. We were eventually refunded by DoorDash, but then received calls and texts from Cookie Lunch at 12:22 claiming they were delivering our order. We had ordered from our office at 6 o'clock and had been there since 9 o'clock, so this was clearly a lie. Upon further investigation, we found a connection between Cookie Lunch, Cono Pizza, and Cookie Punch Crunch, all of which had negative reviews. It seems like they are all related and more focused on making money than actually delivering the cookies. I would not recommend ordering from any of these places. My rating would be -100 if I could give it."

"Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers with respect and care!
