Hard to pin down exactly, but there are a slew of these new restaurants (mostly Italian-esque) with great looking menus and a certain clinical, kitschy ambiance (I realize that sounds somewhat oxymoronic) that are super overpriced with food that’s mostly tasteless. "osteria tulia is my favorite restaurant in neapel. she loves especially the tortiloni filled with short ribs. there is pasta selection wonderful and they can even order 1/2 orders from two of their favorites. I had the fried pork chop with pure potato and greens. it was so tasteful and juicy and the soss was simply sublime. my new favourite item in the menu. we have been going to tulia for many years and never had a bad meal. comfortable excellent eating, wine list, service and ambiente."

"I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite calling ahead to let them know I would be arriving 15 minutes early at 4:15 instead of 4:30, there was no one outside to greet us and our table was not set. The server didn't take our drink order or greet us until we had been sitting there for five minutes. When we are spending a significant amount of money on a company dinner, we expect better service. The person who answered the phone was helpful and said there would be no issue, but upon arrival, it was clear that the staff was not prepared to open. This was on a Friday night, and I believe they can do better."

"We came to an early evening dinner without the kids and really enjoyed sitting outside in the tent. The service was correct, attentive, but not overlaid and our waiter had great suggestions. We had the fried Calamari, which was light and tasty with a wonderful marinara sauce on the side. We also had a fig with blue cheese salad from the specials, which was a great combination of flavors. For the net, my wife really enjoyed the bay of Scallops dinner while I had a large double veal with a large mushroom sauce. Both dinners had the same mash and green beans side. Desserts were also well executed, with the lemonecello cake was the stand out. I'll be back soon and probably bring the kids."

"I and my niece went to a late breakfast. I wanted to take them to the place I worked in the late 80s and early 90s so sad to see that nobody cares about the exterior appearance of the building, it was very dirty and dingy. eating was a good waitress was excellent. they never seem to recover from covid. I was just so broken that nobody interested. Except for waiting staff"

"Links some personal stuff at the table after dinner. Return to the restaurant within 5 minutes. All employees confirmed they found my stuff. After all, they told me they threw my stuff in the garbage. Why would a restaurant throw someone away? Terrible shame. But the food was good. Shame?"

"We had a very nice Mother's Day dinner here because I'm the mom and I was craving Italiano. This was a last minute plan and I really appreciate that the Hostess who took my call was so upbeat and welcoming. I enjoyed the dim lighting, candles at the table, and large window view of passersby on the street. This was exactly what I was hoping for and I definitely recommend this place for a romantic date night. The type of restaurant setting that makes me put on a nice dress and some heels. The drinks were good. My daughters were delighted that their Shirley's arrived with 3 cherries. The wine and cocktail menus were quite nice. We requested bread because we were all feeling hungrier by the minute. The bread was wonderful. I had a cup of the minestrone soup and it was nothing short of DELICIOUS. My carbonara was great, but the chicken that I added to the meal wasn't the high quality tender grilled chicken breast that I craved. It was dry over cooked chicken that was oily/greasy without any distinct flavor. I did notice that they charge 6.00 if you wish to split a plate with another guest. Typically, when I want to try something new, I'll split it with a girlfriend or one of my kids. So, the 6.00 charge would definitely put quite a damper on what is typically a fun food adventure for our table. I look forward to coming back for another serving of that minestrone soon, because I already know it's delicious. Thanks Pastas"

"We ate at Monte Jade when the Gaylord first opened and it was fantastic! They were closed during COVID and must’ve just recently re opened. Our reservation was at 8:30 and there was not very many people in the restaurant but they sat us right by the main entrance and a busy walkway which I thought was strange. They were out of several items on the menu. We ordered several dishes for all of us to share. Everything was average not great but not bad either. The service was great. The price for the food did not reflect the taste as I felt like I could’ve gone to my favorite local take out Chinese and gotten the same quality for a quarter of the price. Hopefully they step it back up!"

"7 years ago my husband and I came here for dinner during our wedding weekend, we came back on Friday night. We were not disappointed. Before I start with the food, a big thank you to Drusilla our server, you were wonderful. And now for the food? Your Bolognese sauce was delicious and as great as the memory, you have not lost your touch. The chicken parmigiana was perfectly cooked and tender. The trifecta meatball was fluffy and very full flavor as was the grilled chicken. The fresh gnocchi was so good it just melted in my mouth. Many times in life you find out that your memories exaggerate the tastes and experiences. If anything you have all exceeded our expectations and memories. "another firm on the only place we want to celebrate! eating was as delicious as ever. byron was our excellent server! thank you! the hot antipasto for two fed three of us with much to take to home. schrimp, baked muscheln, calamari, auberginen rollatini, fried zucchini, all so good. the pasta e fagioli is always so delicious. the ribeye steak with caramelized wobble and mushrooms was really enjoyed by our carnivore! the rigatoni di spago was delicious, and the third entrée, whose name I cannot remember, was a delicate chicken stable, not fried, with a delicate and tasty disc aubergine, also not fried, with a hauch of mozzarella and served with crunching carrots and green beans. everything looked beautiful, and unfortunately I forgot to make pictures until dessert. when they splurge do this with two of the best desserts, cannoli and lava cake. thanks stella trattoria!"

"Do not eat here if they have food allergies! it was my birthday dinner, and a friend chose this restaurant. we arrived early to ask our server about food additive to avoid any yellow or red spice that is my engaged allergic. we have two waiters said that he has an anaphylactic allergic reaction, especially on chilis. Both said they would tell the cook and do their best to avoid any of these seasoned in the meal of my engaged. the food was quite good, but when my fiancée started to snatch on the floor of his lobster crab pasta dish, his throat began to snatch, had difficulty swallowing, then breathing! he went in allergic shock! the sauce must have contained chili that had fallen down! I thought the red bits were the sun tomatoes, but obviously not! I immediately gave him a benadryl tablet that usually helps. after 10 minutes he fought to breathe, so I gave him another tablet. the allergic reaction continued so that the restaurant called the sanity. it took 45 minutes for the antihistamines to take in and recover for my engaged. I was lying that the restaurant had ignored our request and knew that chilis could cause a devastating allergic reaction. I spoke to the cook who was cavalier and said that they had chilis in the restaurant and he refused to take any responsibility for the incident. After they almost killed my fiancée, they had the opportunity to accuse us for eating! because of the damage they caused and their repulsive attitude, I do not recommend this restaurant because they do not care about their customers!"
