"I had the worst meal I?ve ever had delivered here recently. Everything seemed old. I had the egg drop soup and it was the same consistency as jello, I also had calamari which was 11.95 for something I couldn?t even eat. I took bites in multiple and Icouldn?t bite through them. I lastly ordered the tuna lover roll and the tuna on top tasted and looked old. This was the worst$40 I spent and instantly regretted it"

"I'm over the moon over the Pho Chicken Plant Soup I eat at this moment. Had to stop and write a review, it's so good. I can't believe I haven't tried it yet. The broth is amazing, the soup is full of vegetables, noodles and chicken, so tasteful and a wonderful comfort food for a cold day. A huge bowl for such a good price. I'll try the pad Thai next. I'm glad I discovered you, Nguyen's kitchen!"

"TWEEKS ROAD TRIP FOOD REVIEW! This is just a bit outside my home town still in my region of SW VA , and while I don't give many five star reviews, but this is one of my family's favorite restaurants in this region for the last 10 yrs here in downtown Roanoke. They have THE BEST Tim Ka chicken, sweet, sour, spicy, cocoanut milk, lemongrass soup I've ever had pictured .. and the spicy basil soft shelled crab is one of the specials I've only found here. Amazing! NOM! The Thai sweet tea is slamming good too if you can take that much sweetness I enjoy a sip on off my daughter's but can't drink a full one myself . Parking is also easy if you park in the lot at the end of the block. Mmmm.. that spicy crab sauce is still on my lips.. : also check out their unique desserts like the fried ice cream or fried bananas! Pictured that look like spring rolls"

"Incredible food and impeccable service! I found my new FAVORITE fried rice!! The spicy basil fried rice is so delicious and you get a choice of whatever meat you desire in it. It’s both sweet and spicy and has the perfect umami flavor. We chose the beef and were very satisfied, they served a couple of sliced cucumbers on the side that pair so well with the spicy dish and of course you get a delicious spring roll with a sweet savory sauce just delicious!! The staff was warm and friendly, They make you feel very welcome and the restaurant has a homey comfortable vibe! Will definitely be back!!!"

"Good place for Asian food in the area. I 'm not a fan of the other Asian fast food places, so this place was a good replacement. ???? The service was nice and hospitable even though we ordered to dine out. My family tore it up when we got home ????, and really loved it. Some items were a little too saucy salty for me, but I 'd go again requesting special tweeks for myself. I forgot to ask if they used MSG ???????. We ordered a la carte, kung pao chicken, vegetable fried"

"I REALLY want to love this place so badly, but the kitchen is unpredictable. I only order 1 dish, Chicken Pad Thai-heat level 2, and I've ordered it 10-15 times. Every time it tastes different, sometimes so sweet or fishy it's inedible...and the heat level 2 is either no heat, or so spicy I can only eat 1 noodle at a time lol. Those few times it's been properly made, it's been PERFECT though!!!!!"

"Love this place. Our go-to for Chinese. The only time we order anywhere else is on Mondays when they are unfortunately closed. Love their beef lo mein and their general tsos chicken with fried rice. Enough to feed two adults and two kids 4 and 2 with enough leftover for me for lunch the next day."

"If you like a small dive bar with cheap beer, friendly people, juke box, and a few fun games (pool table, ping pong, shuffle bowl), this place is for you. It's a tiny little get away for those of us that enjoy a laid back, casual atmosphere with non-judgie folks. It's not for everyone. If you don't feel like you fit in, or are a complaining Karen or Ken, then you most likely don't belong there. You can easily move on to one of the many other bars along the pike."

"the pad thai was an odd, overly dark orange/reddish color. the noodles were mushy. and lacked flavor BIG time. i could barely taste the tamarind flavor. and the shrimp had a muddy aftertaste. sunmer roll was good. slush was good."
