"I just had the worst cheesesteak of my life. I’ve never eaten a more flavorless and soggy cheesesteak in my life. Couldn’t even be bothered to add salt and pepper. It was dripping the whole time with water (not fat). It had the flavor and texture of a wet paper towel. Actually quite amazing that you can make a food with that many components to have quite literally no flavor. The pizza is good especially the grandma pie. 1 star for the cheesesteak and 4 for the grandma pie. Stick to the pizza like the namesake of the place and avoid the cheesesteaks like the plague unless you’re nostalgic for the COVID side effect of flavorless food."

"Mama's is a pretty solid takeout choice and seemingly a local favorite. We ordered takeout this evening and food was delivered exactly on time and without issues. We ordered their Veggie Stromboli and it was our first time ordering it here. As expected super tasty, they hit the salt quotient, the marinara and their ranch are both options to accompany the Stromboli. and really good. The dough /crust was (as photographed) okay it's just that it was under cooked and we even requested well done. It's a simple fix just another 7 minutes in the home oven post delivery. It's cool and all but it's a 26$ item. We will continue to order from Mama's but we'll stick with the more affordable calzone."

"First time here. Wait staff hides in back took about 10 minutes before we found someone to take our order. Dining area had 3 "d "s dingy, dark, and dusty. Nobody 's cleaned in years. Food takes a long time to come out. We ordered a meatball sausage hero and 2 slices of Sicilian pizza. The hero was great. Bread was good, appropriately cooked. Sausage is kinda spicy, meatballs tasted awesome. Sauce was kinda chunky with lots of seasonings. Best parm hero i have had outside of ny. Then came the Sicilian pizza. It had a totally different sauce than the hero and it was not good. The tomato sauce on the Sicilian pizza had no seasoning. It was bland, watery, and flavorless. Its a shame cause they nailed the crust to what you get in ny. But that sauce was terrible and because of that the whole pizza was under seasoned. If they had used that sauce from the hero on the pizza it would have been perfect."
