"My husband and I were in the mood for a good burger when we made a reservation at Napkin Burger. We both ordered the truffle burger. They came exactly as ordered. We were happily eating them until we both bit into somethin hard. We spit out the offending bits only to find it was bone. We each had a nasty piece of bone! We called the waitperson over who seemed dismayed and said she'd show the bones to the manager. We carefully finished our burgers. We heard nothing from the manager. We asked our server who was puzzled but went to find the manager. She reported back. She said the meat was ground fresh daily and what we had found in our burgers was gristle. Now, did he really think we couldn't tell the difference between gristle and hard bone? Moreover his answer was a non answer. When the meat is ground is not the issue. He never once came over to say sorry. We weren't asking for any accommodation. We just wanted it noted but a good manager should have come over to, at the very least, apologize. And as an aside, a friend in the restaurant business said Napkin Burger gets it's ground beef from Pat La Frieda and doesn't grind it daily themselves. This is poor management on several levels. Be careful if you eat there."

"No valet parking, which is uncommon for Federal Hill restaurants. Out of calamari at 4:30 pm. Also out of the dinner I had ordered of a somewhat limited menu. Asked to share a salad which they split and charged us $4 to do so. Overall a disappointing experience"

"Food is really good, creative, well prepared. Apparently they are understaffed. We had a 5:00 reservation, arrived a little early, were waited on promptly and ordered drinks and an entree. Shortly there after our server changed, no problem until at 5:45 we ordered dessert and at 6:20 (we have to leave at 6:30 for a concert) no dessert and no server. I actually had to get up and walk over to her to cancel dessert and ask for the check. She offered to box our desserts, but we were in a parking garage where the dessert with icecream would not fare well sitting in the garage for 2+ hours. So the first half of dinner was gr8, then it deteriorated fast. The entrees were fabulous, might give it another try in the future?"

"We had another wonderful special occasion dining experience at Trattoria Romana Wakefield. Our server, Danielle, was highly attentive, patiently listened to and answered our menu and wine list questions. The manner in which the meal was paced was perfect. Not rushed, not too slow, just perfect! The food was incredible! Always consider the specials. We had an appetizer special and two dinners off of the menu. The management comped us two glasses of prosecco for our special occasion. Every employee was cheerful, not intrusive and contributed to the excellence of our visit."

"in this year are disappointed by the lack of imagination of many restaurants with their menus, such as mixed leaves, half ah, etc. made easy to house. while sassafraz has opted for dishes from the normal lunch menu to include in these years summery. well done. probably just save. about $5 on normal midday price. pate ok, previewed it in many restaurants, beautiful presentation, but no pickle in the berries. good size share. gaspacho, little heat. very tasty. burger, homemade good taste, little over cooked for my taste. lachsfleck on, well cooked and great aromen. chocolate dessert, more goose than cake, super rich. cheesecake very light, smooth texture. excellent mojito. jools had a moonbeam, exaggerated by grapefruit juice, without hesitating exchanged. service, professional, friendly and attentive. we visit another day."

"We could no longer have our experience here for my men 30. Happy birthday. Our reservation was ready and we were set immediately. Our server recommended an appetizer that should die for amazing! Our entrees were also delicious — so full taste. To round it off, they brought him a dessert with a candle on a plate that said birthday on it! "We've been fans of Panino's Downtown for many years. Decided to try Panino's Eastside and got sick on the uncooked Tomato Puree on their Spaghetti! It was acidic, disgusting and decidedly NOT Italian. No self respecting Italian would use Tomato Paste as Pasta Sauce on Spaghetti! Food prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down. The Brussel Sprouts appetizer was good, as was the service."

"We have always had a good experience at this restaurant until last night. They were short-staffed for the holiday and we had to wait 20 minutes for water, then another 20 minutes for our order to be taken. The food arrived on time, but one dish was much spicier than expected (not mentioned on the menu) and had to be sent back. We will give it another try, but we hope they improve and that staff do not wear jeans."

"Positives: Good location; the bar is fine if you want a lively, noisey time; food quality was good; they validate parking for diners. Negatives: The restaurant has been cut to about a third of its former size, and the accoustics are really awful. During our lunchtime visit (probably our 4th or 5th in as many years) they had only one server, so she could barely keep up, but she was also mopping the floors when not serving clients . . . yuk. Overall disappointing; probably won't go back."
