"This restaurant has everything going for it great space, great decor, great people watching, decent bar, but the food and service will never cut it in this neighborhood. In this part of town you have to be on point with the food and service or you won't make it. The food at Eden is average at the very best. Food was over salted, under cooked and overall under whelming. The server was absolutely awful. Unless there are massive changes to the kitchen and service training, we will not be back."

"The food is delicious but recently had a horrible experience.the eggs shells were left in the free burrito I got from ordering a lot of time thru five stars and as well as the classic breakfast I order. Couldn’t eat anything I order because the cook left eggs shells in the food. No call back just a refund but they didn’t offer to refund me the free burrito that was with the order. Even tho the burrito was free I still paid $22 for a classic meal.. which is expensive for one item"

"We LOVED Ashland Hill! It made us wish we lived in Santa Monica so we could visit more often! They have an incredible happy hour menu! We had their house beer and it was amazing! They are also super dog friendly, which was really nice. Not only were our dogs allowed on the patio we felt welcomed with them! Our dogs were even given dog biscuits, that looked homemade! The staff were all incredibly nice and the outdoor patio was like a little oasis. Really cool place! Definitely stop in for a bite and a drink!"

"The overall atmosphere was nice as they are upgrading the outdoor patio space. Riverview is exceptional. Lovely place to watch the sunset. You won’t miss any games as the TVs all the way around the bar area are great. Also liked the separate and quieter dining area. The .50 Asian wings were great. The grilled chicken with asparagus and mashed potato was excellent. The Prime Rib special for $19.95 was good but a bit too cooked and was smothered in too much crumbled cheese for my liking. Overall, I’ll be coming back to try more of the menu. It’s a nice place and the winter prices are very good."

"Yum! Super happy with breakfast today at this gem of a hole in the wall cafe. We had the Nutella crepes and the upriser burrito, a delicious cup of coffee and a mixed berry smoothie. 10 out of 10. Next time will definitely get orange juice, as we ate we noticed everyone else had ordered orange juice so they must know something we didn’t. I don’t usually take time to review anything but this spot deserves some recognition."

"Lizzy's Tequila Bar Grill is located on East River Street and stands out as one of the few restaurants in the area offering options for vegans. Situated conveniently close to hotels on the east side and the Waving Girl statue, this casual spot is a great choice for a meal. I opted for the Veggie Fajitas, which were generously filled, and also ordered a side salad. The side salad was a smaller version of Lizzy's Shockingly Good House Salad and was a delicious mix of greens, black beans, corn, roasted okra, and plenty of avocado. The okra was particularly tasty. I plan on trying the larger house salad next time, as well as sampling one of their many fruity cocktails."

"For a long time Eventide customer here who spent thousands of dollars over the many years being a loyal customer. We'll never return because of an incredible rude manager. Came out to enjoy our first dinner since Covid. Just outside seats. Enjoyed a little more than half of our meal when a thunder and lightning storm descended on us with 40 mph winds. The four families sitting outside needed to seek immediate protection in an open room with roof doors, which was then partially opened. Social distancing has been practiced. The manager storms in to chase everyone into the dangerous weather, where there were strong winds, thunders and flashes. When we asked if we could only stay for a minute to protect ourselves from the storm, his answer was “going in your car and going home” I then told him that we had not yet paid our bill and did not intend how he treated us. He then went on to throw us out and tell my wife to "stopp" as he does not like us to question his decision. His next move was to call the police to these loyal customers who have supported this founding year for many years. It's hard to believe that this terrible manager WillIng is trying to put life in danger by compelling people into the dangerous weather. I really hope the owner sees this review as we have never expected such a thing to happen in a beautiful place that we have visited for many years. By the way, food and service was terrible, but we were completely fine with it when we understood that these companies suffer because of the pandemic. Note, Eventide employs very rude managers and we will never spend another meal in this place."

"Love love love this place. The fried chicken is incredible. I haven't had chicken so flavorful and juicy in a good while. I ordered a small plates of wings/drumsticks and alone i was full, i could imagine splitting this and an appetizer with another person and being set. The staff was great even though it was a slow Sunday when i came in i didn't feel rushed or unattended, a wonderful way to have a meal. I tries the pepper and the garlic options, both amazing."

"I was so surprised when I read 'Korean Burger place '. Wow! I was not disappointed. I got the Bulgogi loaded fries, a Cali burger and a Bulgogi Burger from the kids meal. AMAZING! Starting from the staff and how friendly they were, bearing with all my questions and lack of knowledge was very refreshing. Then when I tried the loaded fries It was love at first bite. If you like sweet and savory this is definitely the place for you. The Cali Burger is NOT like any other Cali. It was soooo good and the bread they used was thick, sweet and enough to last me the whole burger. (Yes, I 'm one of those that ends up with no bun most of the time lol) and it did not break apart like a cheap bun would. On top of everything the soda machine was adorable. It was tap/craft soda machine. It was fun and convenient cause the kimchi was delicious but a bit spicy had to get me a couple of cups of soda lol I 'm so glad I found this place. It 's definitely a little hidden gem. Not a lot of people know about it, but they should. So go give them a try and give your own review. I guarantee you won 't be disappointed."

"the best Burger spot I've had for a long time. the personal here is super friendly. that was my first time and the kerl behind the register broke everything for me until the menu. I even gave myself some recommendations. you can build your own burger. they have regularly fries, sweet potatoes, curly fries and twirl rings. I have added the west coast burger (I think this is the name) and I have added speck. it was huge and delicious. I have regular pommes and they were so good. the food was quickly prepared. the guy who works, told me he was a customer and then decided to work here because he loved it so much. I could say he loved the place because he was so enthusiastic about everything. he seemed so happy to be there and wanted everyone else to enjoy it. so many others I want to try here. I'll get holy pommes next time! They have a reward system that can make them free to eat. So make sure you sign up!"

"Located in Mesa Hall another great place to while waiting for your car to be charged at the Tesla Supercharging Station. Decided to try their Vaca burger and their fries (an added on for $1.99). They provided garlic aioli and ketchup for the fries. Garlic aioli was good garlicky while the ketchup is on the sweeter side. I believe it was homemade. We were recommended the Vaca burger. The burger was good the onion ring in burger was slightly soggy (not as crunchy as I had hoped) and it felt like it was missing some sauce. Overall it's a good place to sit and munch on something while waiting. It was quiet at the time we went but I can see it being a great place to hangout with friends esp on weekends"
