"We enjoyed the live music and the meal at J.Flemings. It has been a great neighborhood place, and we make it a regular choice for casual, but very well-prepared, interesting meals."

"We went to the restaurant for brunch on Sunday at 12:30. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The only downside was that the waiter appeared to be more focused on attending to all customers rather than sticking to assigned sections, which resulted in slow service. However, overall the service was good and friendly. This was my first time dining there and I am looking forward to visiting again."

"The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding; the staff is very accommodating! The diner is also handicapped accessible. I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner! Parking: The parking lot is spacious, with designated handicapped spaces for easy access to the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how kindly they treated my husband. While the exterior doors don’t open automatically, the staff were wonderful about holding the doors open for us, which is a big help for caregivers. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Greek Salad, Pancakes, French Toast, Crock of French Onion Soup Au Gratin, Burger, Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana, Chicken Fingers with Fries, Cole Slaw, Greek Gyro. "Absolutely outstanding experience! First time here and will definitely not be the last! From beginning to end the service, the food, the ambiance were impeccable! Our gracious and talented server José should be acknowledged as hands down one of THE best! He was just wonderful! He romanced us throughout the night with great stories of food origins and thoughtful preparation of each plate. His extensive knowledge of the wine selection and the details he spoke of were remarkable. We sat in arguably the loveliest and best spot in the house... over looking the dewy greens of LaCantera Resort with a warming lamp above and thick cozy blankets for us ladies who got a little chilly. The only bad thing about The Signature is having to leave! You must get: Drinks: Smokey Makers with chocolate bittersCab : Chilean Cabernet Le Petit Clos Valle de Apalta ‘yam on It’ martini w a fire roared marshmallow for dessert. It’s ridiculous!!! The halibut and filet mignon were mouth watering The cheese plate charcuterie plate worth killing your diet for. The Cesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. The petit four “gift” at the end...heavenly. Ask for seconds of their most perfect dinner roll with Smokey sea salted butter...the stuff dreams are made of! Every bite sip inside Signature is pure opulence and downright sensual! Cannot wait to come back here again"

"Wait-staff service was very good as eating. the only ‘requirement’ was a rather delay in the service of the main course; apparently there was a large table group that consumed a lot of kitchen resources. Unfortunately, we had to skip the desert as it had been in the table in 2 hours when the main course was served and we were finished, and we had another engagement to get."

"I’ll keep this straightforward: the food was wonderful but the service was extremely disappointing. To clarify, the service wasn’t bad our food was well timed, drinks refilled, check came at a reasonable time. However, multiple members of the staff seemed bothered to be working? No greeting from our server, no small talk, fought to get extra bread with our tartare, couldn’t get our questions answered about the dishes, and everyone was very short with my guest and me. For a fine dining experience, I would expect an all inclusive experience including good service. I highly recommend the management spend some time retraining staff and focus on customer experience."

"Ive never not tipped in my entire life. The service here is trash, we ordered ice cream and chicken fingers and they didnt even give us the ice cream. We also ordered cake and the cake was stale, like a month old stale. This place hasn't been the same since covid."

"My boyfriend and I were planning on going to IHOP but the parking lot was packed. We decided to give this spot a try instead, since it's right next door, and I do not regret the decision! Best Diner I've been to. Very quiet atmosphere, and extremely friendly. We were served by Nana and she was super sweet. Their French toast was amazing and they served delicious fresh fruit the hospitality of the staff was wonderful! : I'd definitely recommend to anyone visiting Staten Island for the weekend. They really made us feel welcomed and the food was made with love."

"I didn't know it was in a Hilton hotel when I booked the table. Food and service were fine, but the ambience was so corporate. On the plus side (1) the place was empty so that we could entertain each other, (2) the food was good (3) our server was really nice and polite and came to the right times. On the bottom, if you are looking for a charming Brooklyn restaurant with personality, that is not."

"So…don’t bother making a reservation for a table here because it’s kind of a free for all. We were there on Sat. July 1. Find your own table. Yell at the bartender for 10 min to get a drink. Buffet dinner for $22/person. The steamer food was forgettable except for the potato salad and bread pudding. Having said that, the live band was entertaining and there was plenty of room to sit outdoors with the spectacular view. So, go, but don’t expect much re service or food quality."

"Staying at a Sta. Monica hotel at Christmas hungry for a good pastrami, we located Fromin’s on google. I have found finding a great pastrami challenging. I had no expectation to be honest. Well, my son I were quite pleasantly surprised. The pastrami was melt in my mouth yummy! Minimal fat, just enough for a tender moist pastrami, and thinly sliced, but stacked. The potato pancakes were so good. Well seasoned, and fried to a nice crunch. My son had eggs Benedict he said were delicious! The lady who seated us was so friendly accommodating, as well as Maria our server, who was right on top of everything it’s a busy place. The entire staff worked as a team and performed like a well oiled machine! I can’t wait to come back!"

"Max's of Redwood City used to be a great place for a harder meal, group parties or family excursions. Recently it has actually shown that it is age and is dated. The employees only do their job and through another shift. Once we saw ourselves on the way, now it's a last resort."
