"This situation is becoming absurd. They keep messing up our orders. Today, they served us an order that completely belonged to someone else. To make matters worse, the timestamp on that order was over 10 minutes before we even arrived. Did they give us food that someone else had returned because it was wrong? There’s no way to call them directly, and their main contact number simply asks us to leave a message. With gas prices being what they are, we really don’t want to make another trip just to sort this out, especially since we don’t want to check each item in our car. I would recommend avoiding this place."

"One of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had at a cookout. Waited in line for over a hour with only 6 cars there was 2 lines and they kept taking the first lines order on top of that when I did finally get someone to actually take my order theywere out of everything. Change the menu if you can't get anything in.... this was absolutely ridiculous experience and I hopethe owners are ashamed that this is their customer experience."

"I used to really enjoy the food at Cook Out in Elizabethton, TN, but I've noticed a significant decline in quality over the past year. The meat has often been overcooked, and there have been instances where items were missing from our orders. Today was particularly frustrating; my husband and I had to reorder three malts because our order was messed up twice! When we finally received the correct order, we found that our hamburgers were overcooked and charred, and the fries were soggy and dry. While Cook Out still makes great shakes, we were extremely disappointed with today's service and the overall quality of the meal. This may very well be the last time we dine there."

"We headed out to the Wet and Wild Water Park for round 3 since we have season passes. Before stopping there we went to The Cookout and ordered through their drive through. The customer service was polite. The meals we given in a timely manner. The combos were all at good prices and the food was all devoured. The cup sizes for their combos were pretty big and a pleasant surprise on a very hot summer's day. I'd do back again."
