"I used to enjoy the food at Cook Out in Elizabethton, TN But this last year the quality has gone to the hill, the meat has been overcooked and sometimes objects that are missing from orders. Today was the worst; my husband and I had to reorder three malts, as they screwed the order twice! Once we have received the right order, we discovered that our Hamburgers were overcooked and heavily carburized. Our frits were also boiled and dried. Even though this cook out still makes good shakes, we are very disappointed by today's service and lack of quality of meal. This can be the last time we do business with them."

"first ate at a mayflower in danville, va, before she arrived in martinsville in 1989. ever since, every time we are in the south-east (we are from louisville, ky) my wife and I see where a mayflower is and make plans to stop in this city for the night. we left pigeon forge a few months ago, saw that elizabethton had a mayflower and had bent on this wise. as good as everyone. the location was clean, people friendly, and eating as always, as delightful as it was plentiful. we plan to be in the opposite again the next weekend and my mouth is already watered. I wish they would put a restaurant in louisville!"

"The thru service was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was hot. Was a little disappointed with the Mac and cheese this time. It was dry and not as creamy as before. Maybe it was a little too long in the oven. My granddaughter was also surprised that this special location does not offer a military discount. Other places where she had given a discount."

"You don't miss this hidden jewel. It could not look like much on the outside, but as soon as I was in me, I was transported back to a lifetime of memories that I suspect was the owner of the sports monuments. Such a nice little place. You should really try. The food was delicious (try the Alpine Chicken) and the service was great!"

"I'm really sorry to have to leave this review as I had high hopes and drove 1 hour to try it. When my parents and I got there there was only one person (the owner) cooking and waiting tables. She took our order but was very short and blunt. No friendliness at all. We did not wait long for the food, but, my Dad's food came out in a Styrofoam container because she said she didn't have time to wash plates. The Bibimbap was waaaay too sweet and so were my Dad's noodles. There were no complimentary side dishes and each side dish is 4.95. I order two Kimchi for my Mom and I. The kimchi was good. When it was time to leave I overheard another table saying she charged for 5ake home containers so I just put mind in my Dad's dinner container. The total was $74! I had high hopes for this.
