"Our experience at this restaurant was just okay. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the food was decent. The atmosphere was pleasant, but our table for three was incredibly small and cramped. One person in our group had to leave in the middle of the meal because she felt claustrophobic, which is unusual for her. We were surprised to be charged $2 per cup of hot water, which seemed odd considering we ordered 8 items off the menu. The restaurant was also uncomfortably warm.
As for the food, the tandoor naan was fresh and the red pepper walnut dip was preferred over the eggplant one. The brussel sprout salad was bland and unexciting. The sweet potato dumplings were tasty but the portion size was small for two people. The bamboo rice with poached egg was delicious, and the spicy cauliflower with buns was a standout - the sauce on the cauliflower was tasty and the buns were fresh. The ginger pear cake for dessert was average, but the chocolate pecan dessert was more enjoyable.
We were disappointed with the small table size and the lack of reception towards our feedback. Overall, the experience was alright, but we would not recommend it to someone seeking a high-quality Michelin-star dining experience."
