"Our experience at this restaurant was just okay. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the food was decent. The atmosphere was pleasant, but our table for three was incredibly small and cramped. One person in our group had to leave in the middle of the meal because she felt claustrophobic, which is unusual for her. I had an incredible waitress who was very attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The food was outstanding and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. I didn't even realize it was a vegetarian restaurant because the food was so good!

Fantastic meal from start to finish! Our waiter Dave was charming and on point as were all of the staff. Our food and cocktails were all interesting and delicious. The room has great energy. I didn’t take photos of all the dishes we ordered because I dug in to the others without pausing! The proof of our 5 stars is we made a reservation for our next meal there before we left.

I had high expectations for Nix after enjoying the food at Dovetail, but unfortunately, I found the food to be inconsistent. While the service and ambience were great, the cauliflower tempura with steamed buns was terrible - the cauliflower was bland and the buns were dry. The tandoor roasted beet salad was just okay, and the pineapple dessert was disappointing. On the other hand, the Garnett yam massaman curry was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a good dip and some papadum chips. Overall, Nix fell short of my high expectations.
