"came here with my husband to celebrate his birthday. He used to be with customers and colleagues here and I wanted to try it out. I think for the location, price and ambience, it is worth visiting! The food was good, but not to call home. We had divided the can afteros, ahi tuna tacos and wagyu skewers. A spit was well cooked (to do for our pleasure), the other still medium. The waitress didn't ask, so I rarely asked for medium. Flavor was great and the sauce they serve with it was extremely refreshing! The Ahi Tacos were great! Beautiful balance of spicy and fresh. Nachos were massive. I wanted to order a salad, but the waitress warned against it. Lucky I didn't order the salad because we only finished 1/3 of the beast! Flavors were great. Basic what you do in Nachos, but delish! I also had a glass of her French Chardonnay. Maybe 7/10. I love a really buttery wine, but he fell short. The waitress said it was the butteriest thing they knew it wasn't super buttery. So I guess her honesty. Noise level is loud as you go and talk and understand how loud you were when you go into an open space. At the end of dinner I lost my voice a little. Music was so great live country cover and it was really wonderful. Actually, this bar/restaurant reminds me of Austin, TX, which was a nice change from the formal places here in SLC. I don't think it's great for date night, but perfect for going out with a group of friends or more couples!"

"I had made a reservation for my brothers birthday with the parents and his wife. Our server didn’t mention anything about it. The service was very slow. It took a crazy long time to get our drinks and our server, while nice, didn’t check on us very often. We had wanted more drinks and dessert and that took a minute and then when ready for the check we waited almost 30 minutes. At this point the restaurant was pretty empty so I’m not sure what was going on. The menu offerings were very limited and very few veggie or fish options (no salmon, shrimp, pasta, etc). There was a very bright light above the table that was blinding. The manager turned it down a bit but it was still very distracting. It gave me quite a headache. The food overall was cooked well and tasted good. The cocktails and wine were also good. I expected a little more overall for the price."

"This was our first time at Ragin Cajun. We had heard about it but wanted to experience it ourselves. We were not disappointed. We had reservations and were seated immediately. My man ordered the Crawfish Elouffee and I ordered the Bayou Bisque. BOTH were excellent!!!! I was full so offered the remainder to my hubby. The noise volume was MUCH better than other South Bay restaurants...we didn't have to yell. We truly appreciated that aspect of our meal. Our waiter was very helpful in answering our questions about the menu. His recommendations were on the spot. He was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. We WILL return. and possibly try some of that Alligator!"

"We are not from Houston so it was a little hard to find because we saw other restaurant names outside and the valet didn’t seem to understand us… HOWEVER, once inside, the hostess was very sweet and our server was as well… service was very slow but it was Beyoncé/Renaissance weekend so we understand. All of our food was good but we did think the cocktails were abnormally pricey for them to be so small. Overall, I’m glad my Houston friend recommended it to me. We love to support black owned businesses."

"The burger and fries should be a simple meal. The burger was very dry and it was salted a lot. Combined with the bacon on the burger it was inedible. The fries were soggy or too crunchy depending on the fry. I think the large grease spot under the basket was most concerning. Service was slow and there wasn't anybody there yet"

"Everything about this place is great!! Had the brisket and pork ribs which were both some of the tastiest ? I 've had in a while. The place feels very homey and it probably has to do with the trophies that were donated by a long time customer because his wife made him deconstruct his man cave ??? and the pretty stained glass windows. Sides were all so tasty sounding it was hard to choose but I settled on the cream corn and baked potato casserole both again???. Have had other more expensive big name BBQ places that didn 't come close to this flavor. Definitely a hidden gem. The staff was all so friendly and welcoming I 'll definitely be making this my regular Dallas area BBQ joint whenever I come to town."

"1. The service staff seemed as if we were bothering them just to inquire how to order (because there is no signage); and had smart remarks when ringing up our orders.2. The the Rice Peas were dry and flavorless.3. The collard greens gives the Glory Greens in the can Essence. Woody stems all throughout the container of greens. No flavor other than the juice from the can of Glory Greens.4. The curry goat was introduced to just enough heat to ensure it was no longer raw; however I chewed on pieces of this curry goat for ten minutes and it would not GIVE. I tried several other pieces of my curry goat and many pieces could not be penetrated with my very sharp human teeth.5. There were only two tables to dine in and virtually no other place to consume your meal.6. I would not recommend The Soul Spot to anyone looking for Jamaican food or Soul food unless you enjoy Glory Greens from a can and curry goat chewing meat that could use no less than 7.5 additional hours of simmering.7. Additionally, I would recommend signs at each display sharing what the sides are; what the proteins are. Some of your items are not readily recognizable."

"I am so grateful that I was referred to this bakery when I needed a special cake, cupcakes and cookies for the baby shower of my daughter. the way they decorated them over all expectations, even more beautiful, then the pictures I gave them to use as a guide - the decorator is an amazing artist. the aromas of desserts were heavenly above all the strawberry-champagner they recommended for the cake. everything I asked of them was done until the ninth grade. there are not enough words to describe how satisfied I am with this bakery. they have earned a very loyal customer for years."

"I enjoyed a frozen **** cocktail and a yardbird chicken sandwich. the **** is quite good, only hard to drink as most sluts. the sandwich was great together with the fries. the garlic aioli is an excellent sauce on the side to get. there are reviews saying that they only take reservations or don't make calls. I am here at 5:05 a.m. and bartender takes care of us and answers phone, but I could sit right away."

"Before going to Cuistot we had read a number of very good reviews; our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. We had an array of dinner dishes and found most to be exceptionally good. We both agreed that the crab cakes were fresh and exquisite, and both the wild mushrooms and the ginger carrot soups were delicious without being overwhelming. For the main courses we ordered the salmon and the sea bass and we both agreed that we had made the right choice. The big surprise was the desert, it was a Tarte Tatin made to perfection. Our waitress was caring and attentive and we appreciated her service."

"Wow! Rocco really hit the new Fahrenheit out of the park. The new restaurant at 55 Public Square was just Awesome! From the time we walked in the door we were greeted with a big smile and a great table. Our server, Alli, was all smiles and talked us through all the menu items and made great suggestions including the very tasty eggplant miso cups and the rock shrimp! Salads were delicious and my main course (I was already pretty full) of Asian inspired short ribs just melted in my mouth and I am very much looking forward to finishing it tonight for dinner. Reason we were so full is we mentioned on our Open Table reservation that the 4 of us (two couples) were celebrating big anniversaries so the Matre dee brought out a big Charcutier board and red velvet cupcakes for dessert. The restaurant is beautiful and buzzing with a vibrant crowd all who seemed to be having a great time. Alli offered to take us up to the top floor to see the view but we had to go after such an enjoyable evening, but we will be back MANY times. Last thing is the value, I felt, was OUTSTANDING! Great price points and many of which were real values. Do yourself a BIG favor and try the new Fahrenheit. You will NOT be disappointed!"

"We made a reservation for 6:30, and we were promptly seated in a booth. Our waitress Trinity was very good, answering our questions and if she didn’t know the answer she found out for us. My husband and friend had the salmon which they said was great, just the sweet potatoes had a little too much added sugar. I had a filet which was delicious and my other friend had the prime rib, which came out medium rare just how he wanted it."

"eating was good, not great, but definitiw the price worth. I ordered togo and honestly, it won't do again, because it would have been much better if I had eaten it fresh. the burgers are nice big, good taste, but my was a bit dry, I'm gonna criticize how long it says in the window before I finally had to ask if it was my order. the chili was spicy, but they could taste more tomato than anything else. the biggest interruption of this caffe is the waiting personal, very attentive, especially when they say it is to go. I understand that they may not type or big tips off togo, but they are in a truck stop and I'm sure this is a big part of their business."

"The food was fantastic! However, the hostess gave us a very undesirable table. Despite empty seats near the window, they refused to seat us there because we were only a party of two. After waiting for half an hour, they eventually seated two other pairs at those window tables. I had made a reservation in advance and even confirmed the window seating with them the day before. This was a special occasion for my friend and I and we were extremely disappointed with the service."
