"I made reservations for dinner on a Friday night for two after hearing amazing things about it. We chose to sit at the counter to be able to see the chefs and everything they do, which was a great experience. The food was amazing. I was so happy to see plates focused around veggies rather than all starches to accompany the meat. The food was well prepared and the wait staff all friendly. I'd highly recommend a visit!"

"our favorite ice cream from ohio has found a home in northbrook. this ice-laden is not to be missed. the seasonal aromes are my favorites! the chocolate sheds melt in the mouth and they are huge! taste them absolutely a taste with them. Strawberry chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate chocolate chip, cocose and black raspberry chocolate Cup are just a few personal aromes. go over the road to the green park with its ice and it will be a perfect day!"

"Wasn't super hungry but had a delicious meal here nonetheless. Portions sizes are very hearty. Ordered the grilled octopus, steamed mussels, and a delicious pan fried fresh fish special. The dessert was decadent with a cheesecake and chocolate cake. Service was quick and friendly while the food came out pretty hot and fast as well. Not very crowded when we went on a weekend during dinner time. Plenty of parking."

"Wiener schnitzel was OK, but just OK. Small resemblance to the Viennese original. Same for apfel strudel. Service was friendly and excellent. Customers all seemed to know each other. Group of men at next table had their meal, then waitress brought them a stack of cards, and they settled in for the night. That was a nice touch."

"As many others have mentioned, this restaurant is a charming little spot that has likely remained unchanged since it first opened in 1983. Although some may find this outdated, it adds to the restaurant's character. Our table was served by multiple waitresses, which created a nice team atmosphere. However, there was a 4% credit card fee and an additional charge for blue cheese dressing. The food was average - we started with mozzarella sticks, which were not homemade but of a better quality than most. The chicken parmigiana was made up of two generous pieces of chicken, although I wish there was more cheese. The penne vodka side dish was tasty, and my husband enjoyed his tortellini Alfredo. Overall, the service was satisfactory. This restaurant is best suited for a casual dine-in dinner, with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person. Food quality and service both rated as 3 out of 5, while the atmosphere scored a 4."
