"I was visiting the area from the Bronx today. I decided to stop in before going back homebased on these reviews. This place EXCEEDED my expectations. As a Bronx native, I am surrounded by Dominican Puerto Rican restaurants. This place is BETTER than most local places I've eaten at in terms of authenticity. Everything was cooked to perfection. The Pernil was not dry or overwhelming with oregano like most places. The flavors were just right. The habichuelas tasted like Abuelitas. They even had little pedazos of papas which I loooooved because that's what brings it home! If you know, you know! Absolutely worth the price. I like to enjoy my food and not have to compromise flavor or quality for cost. Definitely will be back when I travel up north again."
