"My wife and I went to this restaurant for our anniversary. We were two of less than 10 customers there at 7:30pm. It took 20 minutes to get a drink because the bartender was busy chatting with five staff members who appeared to be doing nothing, including our waitress. The food was very disappointing. The $45 prime rib was served cold, and I'm not exaggerating. The manager's solution was to reheat the same piece of meat under a heat lamp, turning my medium-cooked steak into shoe leather. My wife's shrimp scampi was mostly watery sauce with only four pieces of shrimp and lacked flavor. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, even though there were only four tables to attend to between two waitresses. The staff kept disappearing, and the only person we could find was busy straightening cutlery at the many unused tables, unable to help us because he couldn't speak English.
I understand that times are tough for the service industry post-pandemic, but this was not a staffing issue. The restaurant had more than enough staff who were mostly standing around or disappearing. The restaurant was poorly managed and inefficient. Customers expect at least an average meal when paying $75+ per plate, including drinks. This was a terrible dining experience overall. To make matters worse, the restaurant is located above the casino's smoking section, so we left smelling like a frat house ashtray. There were plenty of missed opportunities for improvement. I cannot see myself returning to this restaurant or recommending it to anyone."
