"We had another wonderful special occasion dining experience at Trattoria Romana Wakefield. Our server, Danielle, was highly attentive, patiently listened to and answered our menu and wine list questions. The manner in which the meal was paced was perfect. Not rushed, not too slow, just perfect! The food was incredible! Always consider the specials. We had an appetizer special and two dinners off of the menu. The management comped us two glasses of prosecco for our special occasion. Every employee was cheerful, not intrusive and contributed to the excellence of our visit."

"I visited Filomena Lakeview Inn at around 4:30 on Monday, Feb. 27th. The waiter initially brought two menus and a lunch special menu. I requested another lunch special menu as I was meeting a friend, but he informed me they only had 10 per section. Despite the restaurant not being busy, he eventually agreed to bring one. In the end, we decided to order from the main menu. I opted for the mustard seed crusted salmon priced at $29. I had considered the crab cakes, which I believe were $39, but the waiter mentioned that they came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. When I asked if I could substitute the mixed veggies for mashed potatoes and spinach, he stated that there would be an additional $5 charge for the spinach. I was taken aback by this and ultimately chose the salmon. The snarky attitude of the waiter and the $5 upcharge for spinach left a sour taste in my mouth. Despite having recommended Filomena Lakeview Inn in the past, my experience today has left me disappointed."

"Not at all worth the hassle. Nomo Soho added a $500 smoking fee to my bill *without even telling me they were doing it*. I only caught it by accident (buried on p. 2 of the bill). And I DON 'T SMOKE. This hotel is fundamentally dishonest will add fraudulent charges to jack up the price. And then will refuse to address the problem. I 've spent weeks dealing with them. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else."

"Worst experience! We made reservations for what they advertised as a Valentine’s Day Experience, $125. When we got there, we waited exactly 28 minutes to be seated after asking two staff members to help us since there was no one working the front desk. When we finally got seated, we weren’t offered a menu or waters. We had to wait to catch the attention of a server who took our order, still not offered any drinks to include water. We got the food exactly 54 minutes after placing the order. The food was terrible. We had to ask for utensils and water. I understand the restaurant was short staffed but it shows lack of care from the management because they were no where to be found. The servers spoke broken English which tells me that they don’t care about projecting a good image and not many people want to work there."

"Seated immediately. Decor is old but that’s vibe. Service was excellent. Oysters were very fresh. Cesar salad was light and not over dressed or overloaded with cheese. We had ribs and halibut and both were seasoned and cooked well. The side broccoli was fresh and crunchy. The food portion was generous. The price of the food and drinks are very reasonable unlike many of the restaurants in the area. Overall great experience and would recommend it and go back again."

"I'm going to the neighbourhood. at a time my local cafe cafe lalo was. but the place is expensive, loud and always full. my new fave is edgar 's. it is a cozy place with amazing desserts, and the menu (especially for lunch) is delicious and affordable. everything is fresh and the coffee is fantastic. Moreover, the music is French and never so loud they can 't read at the table or in conversation. trust me, let the tourist go to lalo, local should try edgar 's."

"When we all arrived, our server with a tattoo on his arm did not introduce himself and lacked proper service. I wanted to complain, but I didn't want to ruin the day. The server would ignore the men, even those who had been there longer, and instead ask the women for drinks, taking each drink order one by one which took an excessive amount of time. We ordered three appetizers: goat cheese fondue, calamari, and a vegetable dish. The calamari was rubbery and tiny, resembling popcorn chicken. The presentation was also subpar. The goat cheese fondue was disappointing as well, with only five slices of bread and a bowl of cheese. Our entrees arrived and although everyone enjoyed their food, it was not outstanding. The server only checked on us once and then disappeared. We waited for him to ask about dessert, but he never did. I had to flag him down to inquire about birthday desserts. The chocolate slice I ordered for my mom was delicious, and the bread pudding was good as well. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant unless it was solely for drinks. The atmosphere feels more like a bar than a restaurant, and I would not recommend it for a special occasion."

"I ordered two pizzas and picked them up without checking it(my mistake). I got home a couple minutes later to realize half the order was totally wrong. I called Johns to see if my other pizza was still there and they told me it had mistakenly been given to someone else. They offered to remake it but we were on a tight schedule and couldn’t postpone dinner. A few minutes later they call to tell me they would like to make the pizza and deliver it to us- no charge. I appreciate their honesty and customer service! We will continue to choose John’s for all our pizza needs!!"
