After waiting for 20 more minutes and at least six different staff members passing by us, we decided to leave. The food was served piping hot, which I appreciate, and was delicious; there was a lot more than we could finish and we took home dishes for lunch tomorrow. "exquisite eating in a beautiful old building. it has made fun to take care of the fittings and beautiful wood touchs. After we said that, we sat with drinks once. because of a big party moved to another table. bad planning is not our fault! our salads came out after our escaped, an salat was forgotten, and one was wrong. Yes, they were very busy on a Saturday night, but we have our reservation for 5:00, in the hope to miss some of the haste. because the deep court was so divine. we will stop in chicago."

"It has been a while since I have been to Baldwin but was in the area scouting for Pizza Hunters App. Customer service was amazing. Positive experience at the counter. Super friendly and helpful. Had the Margarita slice which was very good. This is a big slice with a big crust. Solid on all categories. Not sure the big crust would grade the highest in tournament competition, but it was above average for sure. I will be going back soon to sample other slices for sure."

"After making the reservation on Open Table, the restaurant said they don’t take reservations, so my party had to wait during lunch rush hour for a table. OpenTable should not allow me to make reservations for restaurants that do not use OpenTable...Duh! If I have to call the restaurant to confirm my open table reservation, I might as well not even use open table. Please fix."

"We have walked by this place so many times and, on a friends suggestion, who finally had dinner there. The ambiance was warm and comfortable and not overly trendy. The food was authentic and very delicious. We could all hear ourselves talk and we had some hearty laughs because of the easy going atmosphere. All 5 of us had nothing but praise and in a heartbeat we decided to have our next monthly dinner there. Thanks for a perfect evening! NYC could use a lot more restaurants like Rafele."

"Location of the restaurant is right by times square which is very convenient. Food was very fresh and good. We ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and zucchini fritti. Love it and will be back next time in NYC. The only complaint is their lack of refills for soda and limited refill for iced tea. When you walked the whole day in a hot summer day, unlimited refills would be nice"

"We stopped by after the movies on Saturday night for a bite. We sat down and we were the only ones in the room who h was cold as if they turned off the heat before closing. We placed our order and were served our salad and a bread basket. The bread was cold,hard and stale. When the salad was served we asked for it to be split which it was not but that was not that big of a deal but a decent restaurant would have done that. There was not any pepper or cheese on the table and the waitress was not to be found so I needed to go scavenging other tables for the pepper and cheese. This left me cold and underserved. The salad was nothing to comment on The food came out and I ordered chicken masala and it was quite good. My wife ordered veal picata and while the flavor of the sauce was quite good the artichoke hearts where hard and under cook. The veal was of very poor quality Struggles to cut the meat. A steak knife would have worked better but then again why eat veal like this. Veal is to be tender and cut and cheese easily. Not worth 20.00 at all I eat out 3 to 5 times a week and must say I was not impressed at all"

"I have to agree with everyone else. All I can say is wow! I chose this place in a mood to celebrate with my family. I live about two miles away and never heard of this place. We were very happy! As soon as you enter, you reminded me of the Greek taverns. It was very illuminated and romantic. They gave complementary bruschetta and had a huge wine list! We ordered Calamari for an app and it was delicious! We also had Tony as a waiter and he was very professional. I even ordered something useful and he said no problem. We had the Rigatoni vodka, chicken marsala, salmon speciality and a seafood combo and everyone loved their meals. I definitely go back and I highly recommend it. Prices are also very reasonable! A"
