"Overall, our dining experience was good. The food, however, came out of the kitchen as if it was sitting for a while. My soup had already developed that skin on top and my main dish was just luke warm. It was a little surprising, since the restaurant was not very busy at all when we were there. I remain loyal, but I was disappointed on this visit."

"I always enjoy the food at Macaroni Grill. However, I must warn you that if you make a reservation through OpenTable, it may be best not to make any special requests or check any special occasion boxes. It seems that the staff at Macaroni Grill never actually read the notes on the reservation to honor your request. I have made several reservations in the past requesting a particular table, only to arrive and find that table occupied because the hostess didn't read the notes. The restaurant is usually not very crowded when we dine early, so it seems there should be no problem reserving our requested table. Perhaps putting a sign on the table would help the staff know it's reserved. Additionally, during my last visit, I found that the background music was much louder than usual, making it difficult to have a conversation with my dinner companions."

"I don't know which was worse, the waiter, the cooks/kitchen/food, or the manager who just wanted to argue. I have never eaten at a place where I was so disappointed. When attempting to discuss the issues, he was not interested in the least bit. We had to ask if they could at least bring out the kids food after we had sat there for over a hour. So, he brought 1 of the 2."

"We arrived and after a short wait were seated. We sat at our table for 20 minutes and no one waited on us. I told a passing employee that we had yet to see our waitress/waiter. About 10 minutes later (30 minutes after being seat, mind you) a waitress finally arrived and took our order. The order arrived in a timely fashion, we ate and then waited for 15 minutes before our bill was brought to us. THEN, we waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our visa and because no one ever came, I walked the bill up to a woman standing in front of a computer and explained that we would like to pay our bill. She was nice enough to cash us out. Also, my husband ordered a small glass of red wine, received a small glass of red wine but was charged for a large. Needless to say, it was not a good experience!"

"Danny took excellent care of my family and me! He patiently answered all of our questions and provided us with great recommendations. We can't praise Danny enough for his friendliness, honesty, and patience. The food was amazing! We were so satisfied with our meal that we can't wait to come back again. And when we do, we will definitely request Danny as our server! We even had a great conversation with other customers about the bread and glasses. Thank you, Danny!"

"We had reservations on 12/25/2019 for 3 people at 6:30 pm at the Macaroni Grill in HENDERSON, NV. The restaurant was slammed. When we arrived at 6:25 pm for our 6:30 pm reservation, we were told that reservations were running 30 minutes late and walk-ins had a one hour wait. We were seated at 7 pm. The servers were very busy and obviously exhausted but trying to remain cheerful. No one told our server that we had been seated, so our drink orders were taken about 15 minutes after we sat down. Our non- alcoholic drinks arrived about 15 minutes later. About 30 minutes after that, we had to flag down a server to ask for bread because it had not been served yet. We ordered our salads and entrees (two people in our party had to order a second choice entree because their first choice entrees were sold out) and our salads were served about 8 pm. Our entrees were served at 8:30 pm. Two steak entrees were very over cooked (were ordered rare and medium rare) and had to be sent back. The new steaks were both very rare and ****. The person who ordered his steak medium-rare could not eat his **** rare steak, so he did not eat dinner."

"Qualified yes. My family picked coming to Romano's as one of two restaurants in Tucson to eat at as part of our vacation. Our last time was 18 years prior, 2002. Much has changed. Some worse. Food was delicious except the bread this was dry, brittle, and not the delicious bread we remember. Food otw was very good. Noise level and type of music was too loud despite that we came at the end of lunch time, around 3:15. Ambiance was otw good. Service was excellent. Would really like a BIG improvement in the bread. "The restaurant was fine, but a bit noisy, sitting by the bar. I was quite disappointed they basically had only 1 white wine available, and not one I cared for. My husband liked his mushroom ravioli. The shrimp in my scampi was fine, but the whole dish needed lemon. I was given some, thank goodness. Nice service."

"Best Dominican Mofongo (the real thing) in South Florida. The pieces of yuca queso frito were delicious. Red beans are also the Dominican way. The coldest beer I have ever served (from the DR of course). The funny thing is that the owners are from El Salvador, but surely the cook is Dominican."
"Johnny, our server, did an amazing job. Kitchen was slow that night, but he was attentive and was able to set expectations well. Smart enough to know what aspects of the meal he was able to turn around faster, we got our appetizers, soups, and salads early and often until our main courses were ready. Best service I’ve had from any restaurant in a while. He needs to teach these values to others. Bright future in hospitality for Johnny"

"It's been years since we had dinner at Macaroni Grill. We made it a dinner and movie night. But we were very disappointed with the food. My date's lobster bisque soup was very thin and no lobster chunks. Then he ordered the tomato basil soup way too red and not flavorful. My Pasta Milano dish was not tasty as I remembered it. Then we tried the canolis for dessert too fried for my taste. At least the Coppola bottle of wine was good. The service was good: new waiter and very pleasant."

"My family and I went to this restaurant for Saturday lunch. The service was excellent and the menu had a good variety of options. The water was not very pleasant, but the food was delicious. It would be wonderful if the manager could get permission from corporate to upgrade the water filtration system at this location. We fondly remembered the days when the restaurant had opera singers performing during dinner and Italian language lessons playing in the restrooms. Bringing back the singers would make for a unique and special experience."

"Horrible experience. Took over an hour after ordering our food to get to the table. The food was cold, our waitress was never in sight. I asked to speak to the manager who offered no solution...I at that point said it would be nice if you could compensate us in reference to our bill....he removed the only drink glass of wine. Horrible!!!. I will never return and will tell anyone I know not to go there"

"We had a reservation for 8pm on Christmas Eve. We arrived at 7:43. The hostess role us it would be a 45 minute wait. Isn’t the point of having a reservation so that you don’t have to wait 45 minutes? Ended up going to another restaurant down the street and had a much better experience even without a reservation."

"We were able to make last minute reservations for a Friday evening which was a plus. We were greeted and quickly seated after we arrived. The restaurant is nicely arranged and doesn't feel crowded. Our waitress checked on us frequently and was able to take our order. The food arrived fresh and tasted very well. The evening itself wasn't unremarkable. Our waitress did ask how our meal was but then didn't really check on us afterwards. The food was good but our bill ended up being well over $50, which I feel is a steep price for what we had ordered: a mac and cheese dish (around $14), a chicken dish (around $20), and an appetizer special (around $12). In the end, I would say decent restaurant, decent food, but steep prices. On the fence if we would come back again."

"Called ahead to reserve table whole traveling (7:30 PM on a Sat. night) and told there was a 30 45 min wait. Okaaayyyy. Arrived 15 min later and were greeted by 2 2 hostesses who were completely clueless. We were immediately seated in dining room that had DOZENS of empty tables, at least a dozen of which were empty but had not been bussed. After 15 minutes at table, our server (Bailey) finally came around and apologized for delay, explaining that several people had called in and they were understaffed. We get it, stuff happens. As we waited for drinks to arrive, we watched diners become more and more frustrated, waiting for boxes and checks to arrive. I ordered a dirty martini and bartender served it himself great drink. Food was mediocre at best. Entrees were lukewarm and quality less than average. Server and bartender worked hard under difficult conditions. Our negative experience was entirely due to lax management. Will not return, ever."
