"It's a solid Mexican place. Good service, fresh ingredients, large portions and fair prices. Mexican Street Mai's app would have been better if made with fresh corn on the Cob, but still, we enjoyed it. Tex Mex Burrito was HUGE. Fajita bowl was a good lower carb option, although it could have been more tasteful. Overall very pleasant."

"Was told the wait was only 20 mins and ended up waiting 50mins. That’s ok because they were busy, so that’s understandable. Waitress seemed stressed and very overworked. Not really a sense of humor when taking our orders or just communicating with us. Asked the waitress for a few extra limes for our drinks (since she wasn’t bringing a new lime each time we got a drink). Then I got charged for the limes at the end of dinner. I don’t mind paying for these, if she would have mentioned it up front. The food was mediocre, and there wasn’t anything special about this Mexican restaurant."

"First time here! And the food and atmosphere was incredible. I grew up in San Diego so I have been struggling to find a decent Mexican restaurant in the Northeast. La Fiesta checked all the boxes. The food was hot and delicious. Well portioned and priced fairly. The waiter was attentive, helpful, and kind. And the restaurant was quaint and cute. "I got a take out order from here. When I came to pick it up, I was given one bag and I asked if I was all set. When I got home half of my order was missing. Came back and staff said woman who gave me my order wasn't an employee. I drove 15 mins each way to try this place and they wouldn't even try to make it right for me. Won't be back."

It goes with everything momos/dumplings, spring rolls, etc. 2021 review: I ordered through Grubhub and absolutely loved it. The best items were Pollo Poblano and Chicken Quesadilla Fajita. The problem I usually face with Mexican food is uncooked tortillas. Not at this place!!! The tortillas were perfectly cooked and soft and the fillings were perfect (cheese, chicken, peppers, etc). Both their items had taste and flavor!! I will definitely try their other items."

"I visit this restaurant regularly, at least once a month, because it offers the best Mexican food in Salem. The only critique I have is that during my last visit, the silverware was dirty. As a germaphobe, I found the knife to be especially dirty, so I can't overlook that. However, this was the only time I have noticed this issue. Overall, I would rate the food and service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5."

"My wife and I loved everything from the chips Salsa, beans and rice, Fajitas and beef Mocajete. Molcajete bowls were my meal in Ohio. That was the first one I've found since moving to Arizona a few years ago. The service was also excellent. We're coming back! Very recommended!"

"Giving this restaurant one star is being generous. My companion and I were the only guests there when we arrived on a Saturday for lunch which should have been my first clue. The server was unfriendly, detached and acted as though she'd rather be anywhere else. It was useless trying to engage her in friendly conversation, she simply didn't care. When then two combo platters arrived at our table quicker than a Taco Bell taco, I knew the food was not freshly made and I was right. Everything had been microwaved. The canned, pale beans were tasteless as was the nasty minute rice. The burrito and enchilada has a horrible cheese whiz fake cheese in them and both were inedible. When the server came back I asked her to remove the completely uneaten platter due to the awful food. She took it without comment and walked away. No apology and no offer was made to replace the dish with something else. We weren't charged for the dish which is the only positive thing I can say about the place. I've had better tv dinners and Vic Maier's old IGA building and Covington deserve better than this disgraceful place."

"I have both take-out and Dine in El Agave. Both times the food was delicious and tasteful. The waiting staff is not the knowledge of gluten-free offers as a warning, but the kitchen staff is. I couldn't eat the enchilada sauce, so the chef proposed her queen. It was amazing!"
