"I'm only in this area a few days, staying at my cool cousin's home on Lake Hamilton in Fair Play. Lucky for me i popped into this quaint little Southern locale for a quick bite when i did, because the waitress was telling everyone that they had just reopened after the long holiday vacations. And wow!... Was the food, experience, and assortment of down-home people just faaaan-tastic! I had a tuna on rye, which goes back to my childhood on our family road trips cross country. The sandwich was perfect, with pickles as i like, with the oversupply of crispy fries so filling. What made my meal complete, though, surely was the never-ending happiness of the many attentive gal servers who properly and politely reached over to my iced tea cup... which was thusly never less than 3/4 full. I didn't have long to sit, however i noticed many other people enjoying an interesting variety of southern comfort foods, with zero complaints emanating anywhere. (The people here are a hoot! One fine couple sitting next to me said they were local, and the nice lady coyly smiled when i said i wasn't. Gotta believe the desserts must be good, too, as there was a young girl with her daddy peering into the ice cream bin, marveling at the selection, and oh how was the little lady gonna be able to choose just ONE flavor?! Sweet hospitality through and through found at the Fruit Punch Sandwich Shop... a lovin' place that just cannot be found where i hail from. Sadly so. But gladly it is still found here. Amen. "
