"Was excited to try a new barbecue place and this place failed horribly. The sides were okay. The chicken was dry and chewy. The chopped beef brisket looked like a bowl of chili, grease and all. The sliced brisket had smoke flavors but the sauce was so very underwhelming, no tang, spice or anything to write home about. The marinated onions again were okay. I will not order from here again nor will I eat there in person. If you are hoping for good, authentic Texas barbecue, this isnt it."

"Chicken, beans, potato salad, coleslaw, rolls great. The ribs were not cooked BBQ sauce was terrible. All guests attending complained and would not have anything to do with taking leftover ribs. Even the pastor complained and was very sorry for us. Service was late. People were getting tired of waiting to eat only to get terrible ribs. Ruined our special day. Was told there would be a special plate made up for 1 guest. Tablecloths were not furnished. I could keep going."

"Food: 5/5 Every bite of the sandwich was scrumptious and to be savored. Mmm...Mmm...Mmm... The bacon was crispy and thin. I omitted the tomatoes and lettuce. Requested extra onion and hot peppers. The Dutch crunch roll was fresh and soft. The toppings were properly portioned so everything married well together. I didn't think I'd eat the whole sandwich but I did. Too tasty to put down. Besides, I had a liquid protein shake and arugula salad earlier. Something heavier was warranted. Service: 3/5 I came into the store and no one was at the deli counter. Hence, no greeting. I made my presence known by saying hello. I could see the gentleman behind a partition and heard he was on the phone. He gets up while still on the phone and proceeds to help me. To keep it professional I feel the appropriate thing to do would have been END the call and solely focus on the customer. Nonetheless, I received my sandwich made as requested. Ambiance: 3/5 The store and deli counter appeared clean and well maintained. Just congested and oddly structured. When I lived close to this market years ago I'd come often. I happened to be in the area and decided to stop in for the amazing tasting sandwiches I remember. The quality is still there. During lunch time you'll find many of the sheriffs or police stopping in for a sandwich."
