"I have ordered takeout from this restaurant over 20 times. The basil fried rice is a perfect 10 out of 10 and the chicken pad Thai is also a 10 out of 10. However, tonight I decided to try the honey chicken for the first time and I was extremely disappointed. The dish consisted of 17 pieces of chicken drowned in a red sauce with carrot sticks and pineapple chunks, resembling chicken soup. It had a strong artificial taste of honey and Red40 dye. I called the restaurant to provide some feedback and requested to speak to a supervisor or manager. When I shared my positive and negative feedback, they simply replied with "go ahead". They defended the excessive sauce by saying that their customers prefer it that way and implied that it may be different from what I am used to. I expressed that they could either take the feedback or ignore it, to which they replied with a simple "okay thank you" and ended the call. This lack of concern for customer satisfaction showcases a disappointing level of customer service."
