"Awful experience at this restaurant. We had made a reservation assuming it would be busy, but it was surprisingly empty. When a host offered us a table, we opted to go to the bar instead. However, we were completely ignored by the staff despite there being multiple employees behind the bar and it not being busy at all. We eventually left without anyone seeming to care. It is disappointing when a bartender cannot even acknowledge customers. We will not be returning and would advise others to do the same. We ended up going to Tacocraft across the street where the service was much better. Hopefully, the management at Himmarshee Public House will take notice and make some changes to improve their service."

"An absolutely awful dining experience from soup to nuts . Visiting from out of town, and this was the only restaurant in National Harbor with seating at 6 PM. I now know why. 1 Greeted by a waitress whose opening greeting to us was an explanation of the cheeses that the restaurant was out of ? . 2 Told that items that were literally printed on the menu were no longer on the menu . 3 Had to revise on order as the item ordered hush puppies were unavailable . 4 Orders delivered to the table were incorrect. 5 Items that should have been cold beer, for instance were warm, and items that should have been warm were cold. 6 Food was substandard. 7 Service was even worse."

"There is literally nothing bad I can say about this restaurant except that I wish it was closer to my house so I could go more often. Not only are they very germ conscious with hand sanitizer on EACH table, but the atmosphere is comfortable, friendly, and inclusive. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is great! I 've gone several times with many different and very diverse people and all of them felt comfortable. From my very conservative Aunt to my friend who describes himself as 'flaming and proud ', to my special needs nephew, all were served with respect and kindness. I highly recommend Patterson Public House to anyone. You won 't be sorry you went. And try their truffle fries. They are delicious!"

"Just had our second meal here and absolutely loved it!! My husband enjoys the TN Tobacco Barn libation and I enjoy my Tisdale Moscato. The food both times has been so flavorful, hot and served by great people. Can't wait to go back and try new items. To date we have had the Spicy Crab Dip, Slow Braised Pork Belly, Crab Stuffed Shrimp Grits, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, French Onion Soup and their salads and dressings complimented each entree. Great pairings!!!"

"Very disappointing experience. Food was not good at all. Service was terrible. There were four of us at dinner and they brought the wrong salad and completely forgot one meal completely. It took over 15 mins longer to bring the forgotten meal. We will most definitely not return."

"HORRENDOUSLY expensive for a dark and dirty dive bar. For the price of a couple beers and a house salad you could easily make a down payment on a car... the arrogance to charge $10 for a beer and $17 for a house salad. "So far we've been in Schmizza twice. Both times we sat fast (it could have waited if there was no table). The staff is friendly and prompt. When we went the first time, the owner came by and asked us how we did it, also recommended a beer... can't remember what it was now, a German light beer?? Fruity, delicious... everywhere he was really great. Food is great, brussel sprouts are amazing, burgers are great, and the beer is cold. We're going back!"

"Butter Whiskey presents itself as an Irish pub. I ordered fish chips, which should be the menu item they rock. The fish and the fries (chips) were over-cooked in the deep fryer. The fried batter on the fish ranged from dark brown to black. The relatively thick (1/2 x 1/2 in thickness) fries were so over-fried that they snapped. This wasn't a crispy outside and soft, chewy inside. Terrible fish and chips. My wife had a featured burger. So-so. Same overcooked fries. The only thing that was OK was the side of cole slaw. Don't bother."

"Delicious.. I had the pleasure of eating here today with 5 employees of me. The crab filled Brezel was amazing! (It tasted similar to an old recipe that made my mother with shrimps in a Newburg sauce. It was krabby, creamy and tasty! And the huge burgers were so delicious and juicy. They offer many variations of their burgers, so the only problem you have is the choice to order. The old English burger was covered with caramelized onions, mushrooms and Swiss, then covered with bacon. Ooh-la-la! Yeah, we had to ask for more napkins! They also offer a range of appetizers, panninis, flatbreads, wraps and other sandwiches, plus dinner entrees of steak, seafood and pasta. The whole food was fresh and I can't expect to go back to dinner and try her smoked Prime Rib. The service was good and the surrounding two-storey main floor area was modern, roomy and had a lot of TV for the enthusiastic sports fan in your group. During October, they have a few special Oktoberfest menu items that I cannot wait to try (bratwurst with sauerkraut and Swiss cheese, someone? I would definitely recommend this place for a couple of night out, or bring the family, or just sit and relax for a few adult drinks after a long day at work. It had a very relaxed feeling and with tasty dishes like I was privileged to have today, you will certainly not be disappointed."

"I went for the view and the points. I ended up loving the chef's, bartender's, and server's abilities. I ordered a tequila sunrise with El Jimador tequila hard to find in Birmingham). It was perfect and delicious. At first I was seated in the main dining room. Gorgeous view nice table. Music was kind of Muzac/elevator sound. Then a family with 4 young children was seated next to me. I explored seating possibly in the bar room. I was pleasantly surprised and seated ib the bar. A wonderful jazz duo played wonderfully. There were delicious complimentary hors doeuvres veggie spring rolls, fried mushrooms, melon, crackers and cheese). Wonderful with my sunrise. I ordered the salmon and a side of spinach. Yummy and reasonably priced and perfectly prepared. Consuelo, my server, was a delight and competent. I will be back. I hear they are about to remodel the restaurant. Try it."

"My son and I reserved a table here for convenience before going to see the Blue man group. Seating was prompt. I had the standard burger that was standard at best. My son got the over sauced full rack of ribs and could not eat them because of the old chewy meat. It wrecked him wanting anything else from there. They did remove it from the bill but did not offer any other comp for the inconvenience. Good service but average to below average food with strip prices. I would not return."
