Old Philadelphia Public House

Wing (honey bee sting, garlic parmesan, and bbq). I don't like absurdly hot flavors. I cannot enjoy the true taste of the meal. Their blue cheese is fantastic, large pieces of cheese and the taste delicious. Monday is the wing special night (50 cents per wing). The wings were very large, unlike many restaurants in the area when they run wing specialties. You do not have an extra for the blue cheese in a special night, another pleasant anomaly for this area. The freshly cut pommes were exactly what they claimed. They were savory, crispy and hot. The service was on site. The waiter refilled my cup at least three times. The ambience was calm, dark and relaxing. The prices were very reasonable.

This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star review. My boyfriend and I decided to try a new place for wings. I googled restaurants in Pottstown and found Old Philadelphia Public House. It looked like a nice place with a huge selection on their menu. My boyfriend ordered two dozen wings with hot sauce. When they came out they literally looked like the bones cooked in sauce. They had absolutely no meat on them. They were dry and looked as if they were cooked and reheated. His sauce was not hot and it was sweet. I ordered their build your own burger. It was just plain ground beef with no seasoning and I ordered an onion ring, bacon and pickle on top and medium well. It was the most dried out burge...

Delicious.. I had the pleasure of eating here today with 5 employees of me. The crab filled Brezel was amazing! (It tasted similar to an old recipe that made my mother with shrimps in a Newburg sauce. It was krabby, creamy and tasty! And the huge burgers were so delicious and juicy. They offer many variations of their burgers, so the only problem you have is the choice to order. The old English burger was covered with caramelized onions, mushrooms and Swiss, then covered with bacon. Ooh-la-la! Yeah, we had to ask for more napkins! They also offer a range of appetizers, panninis, flatbreads, wraps and other sandwiches, plus dinner entrees of steak, seafood and pasta. The whole food was fresh...
