"Delicious dinner tonight! I've always been a fan of horses. You have a great menu and everything we got tonight was excellent and the service was also. I had pannenlachs, which was fabulous. "Mixed feelings here. The ambiance and service were excellent. Most of the food was wonderful. The cole slaw and the baked beans were the best I’ve ever had and I’m 74 years old and have been in a LOT of barbecue restaurants. My wife’s brisket sandwich was large and flavorful, the brisket cooked perfectly. Here’s the drawback. I ordered a half slab of baby back ribs. What I received was the smallest portion of ribs I’ve ever seen outside a sampler plate. It was maybe a third of a slab, and that pared right down to the bones. What meat there was, and it wasn’t much, was also perfectly cooked and delicious but there was just too little of it. Price points were good and I have to recommend this place just don’t order the ribs."

"Living with major gluten issues, is difficult-especially when I go out to eat. I called ahead of time to ask about their GF options. I told them I was interested in a salad dish. They called the chef, got ingredients, and I called them back. They told me specifically the ingredients of the dressing and it was completely GF. When I arrived, they knew about my gluten issue and they were able to prepare my dish separately!!! I didn’t get sick. The strawberry salad and chicken was DELICIOUS. I’ll be going back! My boyfriend loved the shrimp tacos.Dietary restrictions: They went over and beyond to cook my dish separately (gluten allergy)."

"absolutely brilliant place! one of the best and coolest little bbq joints I ever had and I was on 100 bbq joints all over the country. I would give it up to 5 on my list. Mac cheese was phenomenal. mushrooms were phenomenal. brisket was really good. cornbread was good. pickles were good. homemade sauces were all good. they also gave me a free pecan pier ice cream for my birthday, which was absolutely out of this world. service was good. I will be back in any case!"

"Sooo disappointed!! I hadn?t visited the restaurant in quite some time because every time I have gone, they never seem to get things right. Even this time, I ordered 3/4lb of burnt ends and had I not looked at the container before exiting the restaurant,it would have only been 1/4 lb. Actually that would have been fine since I am throwing them in the GARBAGE?. WORST I have everhad. They have no flavor, just bland nothing that tastes like it was soaked in honey, absolutely no other flavor at all. Nogarlic, no pepper, no seasoning at all. Do they not have a quality control person to make sure the food prepared is good enoughto serve? After checking the burnt ends, they might want to also check the brisket beans that are super watery/liquidity andspicier than he double L. I called the restaurant to ask if the recipe for the burnt ends had changed and she said no. I lether know how bad they are and her reply was, ?sorry about that.? Seriously after just spending $22.42 on the burnt ends, sorryabout that was the best she could do?? My bill was $50.17 total and I will not be returning. Not only is the food poor qualitybut the customer service matches."

"Came here for the first time tonight with a coworker while in town, you walk in and you can immediately smell the wood. The place was clean and the setup was great. The drinks were delicious but didn 't capture those unfortunately. Service was great, I like that she didn 't hound us every five minutes and said ok let me know if you need anything else , and would very minimally come by to see if we were good.(that 's a plus in my book, not a negative because if I need something I 'll make eye contact or put my hand up to get their attention as we weren 't the only people in the building) If I lived in DC I 'd be back here almost weekly. Collards were a TAD salty, but if that 's the only complaint, HEYO! My coworker and I were talking about prices, but let 's be honest, it 's DC, most things are pricey esp for good food. Oh and the dude playing golf, he concentrated so long that he had to have won the game."

"Finley's Grill Smokehouse in Kalamazoo MI was super helpful in planning food for our special day. They were always available to call and ask questions. We were invited to stop for a tasting and it was excellent. They also worked with us to decide quantities of food based on the amount of people invited to the reception. I enjoyed how easy it was to work with them and how fast they reacted to any question I had. They even made it super easy, other foods like sides and candy we have made ourselves to supplement the meal. We even got a beautiful wedding card from them a week or so after the wedding. I would definitely use it again."

"I like the feel of the Tosa Smoke Shack... very similar to the downtown Milwaukee location. The service and ambience is great but not excellent but the food is excellent! "Once we were seated we reached our “water”. The waiter then walked away to check on other tables and probably didn’t come back until about 10-15 mins. We ordered the Guadalajara and the lunch nachos with steak. My parent also ordered two margaritas which took a while to come out also. The food took about 35+ mins to come out. Me thinking okay it’s lunch time I definitely understand. I started to notice that tables that were seated after us received their orders before we did so I began to think. So here comes our food. After looking at the fajita meat I could tell the order was wrong. I order medium well and they brought out medium rare. And the food was room temperature. So the manager comes over and states oh I will bring you another plate but it will take longer bc if the shrimp we say “no problem”. side note: before the manager came over I took a small bite of one shrimp. When the manager came back I notice he did NOT remake the food however he just put the meat back on the grill and it was still luke warm. I was so upset. This was my dads birthday and the service that we received was terrible."
