"Delightful experience with very savvy service. We were lucky to have great weather for the rooftop dining, with carefully placed umbrellas , as the wind kicked up.The beet salad with local fresh cheese and quinoa was impressive in the textures and doneness of the baby beets. The oz tenderloin was perfectly done crisp outside and juicy all through. The local bass with chimi sauce was crisp and the eggplant was tender and flavorful with a tangy sauce. Sides of chick pea fries a bit heavy , but the carrots and zucchini beautifully done , and tender. Desserts were also freshly prepared and sorbet was satisfying.Fun vibe, and we will return soon"

"Rarely I ever write a review, but this place was flat out of brilliant! The service was impeccable shrine after Nick and the day leader. The food was amazing, it was the perfect temp not too hot or cold), and the place was super clean! I am a huge sticker, even above all Kovid 19) of seemingly clean places; I could go on and on, as this place wished me, I would eat there daily. Thank you for giving me such a nice experience. "Sal de Fortes treats you like family where you are before or it is your first visit. I had one of the new specials last night, a spinach and goat cheese filled chicken breast with risotto and grilled asparagus. It was dying. The filling was so good that I had only one bowl. Our server was excellent as usual. All in all a wonderful and relaxing meal."

"They have a whole vegan menu of great rolls and appetizers to choose from. Some are a little bland but it's great to have options. But their service needs some work. Food is served as it's made rather than the whole table at once. I don't mind little gaps, but in my party of five, one person did not get their food until 45 minutes after all the food was served, very disappointed. However the manager was kind enough to comp it. Unfortunately this has happened a couple times for us, so likely will not come back."

"Been many times but was disappointed with this visit. Despite reservations made weeks ago, they weren't prepared for us to sit at the grill so we couldn't (makes the experience). Service was not the best; maybe yet server was new? I don't know. Vegetables were cold on all plates when served, had yo ask for more. Food did taste good and I'm sure we'll be back. First time we weren't pleased with out visit. Maybe just an off night."

"I want to give them a higher rating, but if they pay $45 for two Poke bowls and a starter for take-out they would expect a more seamless take-out process. there is a running gear thru line and then within an unorganized set of write down their order number and then sit around while they wait with others to wait until their name is called. there is no one who greets them and they are forced to wait for them to grab the notizblock to get their attention and check for their order and I, while I try to be attentive to how restaurants have been hit hard with personal problems since the pandemic began, it will be difficult to look at this place again, unless they offer a better customer service."

"Certainly a good Sushi ? joint (and bar). Quality of food ? is great. Prices are somewhat reasonable, atmosphere is excellent. Parking ?️ is available at the parking meters or their adjacent garage. I just wish some of their dishes had no sugar or not too sweet because they can be. Also, for their soups, it was a big disappointment that the only broth they make is pork, which is not a wise decision. The coupe ingredients were great just the pork broth didn’t go down too well. But hey! It’s their culture."

"A little disappointed in this restaurant. Very excited to go out to dinner with my friends and have good sushi but it did not measure up to my expectations. I had an appitizer which was delicious but i order two sushi rolls for dinner on was the Azie roll which was delicious but the shrimp tempura was not the best. It was put together very nicely but the shrimp was no where near fresh. It was chewy and tasted like it had been fried the day before. Also the service wasn’t good. I had an empty water glass for most of the meal after asking the waiter twice to please refill it. Unsure if I’ll be back here anytime soon."

"We had reservations for my son's birthday at 8:30p. As I work Mon-Sat. 1-8p on Fridays. We were seated immediately even though it wasn't 8:30 yet and not everyone was there. The young lady asked for our drink order we told her but also told her we had 2 more coming. She acted mad about that. She brought our drinks then wanted our order. We told her we are waiting for the other two. She asked us rudely so you're gonna wait on them? I said um yeah our reservations are for 830 that's still 2mins off. When they got there she asked if we was ready. I said the just sat down can you get their drinks first? She rolled her eyes and huffed. She got upset when we wanted more drinks. She got really upset when I asked for the cake I had her put in the back.. I asked for for plates and forks. She ignored me. Then brought the cake in the sack and got mad when I asked again for plates and forks. Oh and she had them start coming to take our food. I wasn't half way done because they forgot my daughters steak and I gave her mine because he got hers mixed up once he got it and gave it to her medium rare when she asked for med well. He did apologize and fixed it. Then my mom left to go to the restroom she took her food and the ice cream she had just brought her I told her she could leave it. She literally looked at me and took it! Absolutely the worst service ever! I know it was late and closing time but you all offered a group of 8 to come I at 830 for a birthday party. It was obviously gonna go past closing time. Very rude!"

"Looked them up online and said Happy Hour until 5:30 so rushed there and seated at 5:15pm. No server for 5—7 min. Requested a server. Asked about Happy Hour, said it no longer exists, ordered 2 rolls anyway and were disappointed. Between super slow table service and one ok, one hard pass roll…I don’t think we’ll be back. But my boyfriend said, maybe it’s more of a lunch place versus dinner ‍ ️."

Let me share with you probably my favorite sushi spot in NYC as of now Bushniwa located in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY.I love the aesthetic inside and have ordered both dine in and to go from here. They have a wide variety of items on the menu, from starters and appetizers, rolls and specialty rolls, sushi and sashimi, to dinner plates, soup, noodles, sweets, and more!Some of my go to's are the shrimp tempura and Philadelphia rolls. They are mighty in size and taste. Their house salad dressing and miso soup are tasty too! Service is always attentive and friendly and the prices are affordable and average for a Japanese restaurant. I can't recommend this spot enough!"

"I absolutely loved this place!! The food was incredible and the inside was so beautiful. I was definitely bummed our service wasn’t as great as everything else. I thought our server was nice but as the night went on and we were the only couple in the restaurant I could tell she was ready for us to leave. She came and told us the kitchen closed and we were unable to order dessert which was disappointing considering we were celebrating our Valentine’s Day. I have no problem with wanting to go home but if she would have warned us before hand it would have looked better for her. As we walked out of the restaurant we noticed the kitchen was definitely not closed. I could be wrong but either way just disappointed the service didn’t match everything else."
