"This is one of my last meals in Maryland and while it's definitely pricey it earns those prices. My dad and I got the Rasta pasta and a chicken in brown sauce and while both were excellent I was a little sad about how I'm probably never going to be able to experience that pasta sauce again since I'm moving out."

"I really appreciate that there are 3 order sizes. The rice and peas was a bit dry so I apos;m glad I had gravy over it. The Oxtail was a bit salty, I can tell it apos;s cooked with goat somehow, and I didn apos;t like the taste of goat in my oxtail, BUT I did enjoy that piece of dumpling I found, lol, that was a happy surprise. The Mac Cheese was not for me. I think it was made with smoked gouda; it had a strong French cheese taste that made me feel like I needed some wine. The Lemon Cake is dry, but nothing some ice cream can apos;t fix. I like the lemon taste and appreciate that it apos;s more cake than icing!"

"Even if you aren't a fan of spicy food, Sally's is still worth a visit. The pulled pork tacos and tuna tostadas could use some improvement - the pork was hard to taste in the taco and it was soggy, and there was too much cream and seaweed on the tuna tostadas. However, the oxtail short rib dumplings and crab rangoon are consistently delicious. While I didn't order the fried rice this time, it is usually quite good too."

"This is the 2nd time I ate here and for the most part the food is good. The greens are bland and the muffins are dry today. The catfish an macaroni is really good thats why I ordered again. But today I ordered cabbage an it had mixed vegetables mixed in it. Why?! If I wanted that I would have ordered them. I hate peas an cooked carrots! I was very disappointed in this. "The pizza here is absolutely delicious! I stumbled upon this place after another well-known pizzeria was closed, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the sausage pizza with broccoli (I can't recall its exact name on the menu). They make their pizza in a brick oven, which adds to the flavor. One pizza and an appetizer were enough for two people. We tried the meatballs as our appetizer—two large meatballs served with red sauce, and they were fantastic. I've heard that this place is also famous for its pasta, which we didn't get to try, but we definitely plan to return soon to sample it."

"Saw good stories on their Instagram figure I'd check it out on memorial day weekend was not crowded order a frozen rum punch took a while too come rum punch was not good at all went on too order appetizers ordered shrimp and calamari and Buffalo wingsthe calamari was so bad completely over cooked the shrimp was good the wings trash breaded with way too much sauce. Stillwanting too give this spot a chance I ordered main course and another drink b4 I ordered the bartender who was also waitingtables along with 1 other waiting who looked like he was not even old enough to be the gave me a list of all the things theywere out of no lamb chops no skirt Steak etc. so I ordered the rib eye medium with veggies and mash after about a 45 min wait the steak came out very well done and it was about 85% FAT the worst peice of steak I ever had in my life! Also ordered frozencasamigo margarita also not good. Long story short I had very high hopes for this spot and was highly disappointed definitelywill not be returning I am a very big supporter of Brooklyn BLACK OWNED restaurants and lounge unfortunately I will not be abletoo support this spot."

"The authenticity in this food is absolutely incredible! The Ruck Chicken was EXCELLENT and the amount of food you get for such a low price is amazing! I ordered an additional page of plantains and instead of serving their plantains from a prefabricated tray, they rode fresh. All their foods are fresh and they keep it coming! The staff is friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great Caribbean/Japanese cuisine."

"I enjoyed my visit to this cozy neighborhood spot. The food was tasty although pricey and the drinks were strong but good. The music selection was nice and the place was neat. The server was pleasant and attentive and I would visit again. The place is small but a nice place to come to if you are in Brooklyn and not looking to travel too far or to usual hangout spots such as in Manhattan or Williamsburg etc."

"YALL HAVE TO GIVE THIS MAN A CHANCE. Rain, sleet or snow, Flava Chef is out there serving up food. He is pisted right in frknt of East Orange station. I was walking home and decided to give it a try. I started by getting beef patties. I bit into it, went back and got another. Flaky, buttery, crust and well seasoned meat. 100% HOMEMADE PATTIES. I went back a few days later. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas with a slice of carrot cake. It was hearty, seasoned perfectly and balanced. Not oily oxtails. Thank you Flav for making GREAT FOOD."
