"The place was way too loud. They seated us at a booth with another couple whom we did not know. They proceeded to screw up the order. My wife's dish was the wrong thing, but they served me at the same time. So my choices were eat in front of her or let it get cold. They should have taken both plates back and reserved. Her food came out 20 minutes later. No offer of a comp or anything as way of apology. That and the prices are obscenely high for what you get, when the order is correct. Go to a locally owned Italian restaurant instead."

"We were walking by and stopped here because it smelled soooo good, even from outside. They were really busy (concert next door but we were still seated immediately. All the plates are enormous, so bring a group or come hungry. Highly recommend the stuffed peppers the sauce was really tasty and they were spicier than I expected. Spicy pesto and chicken marsala were also good. We didn't have room for dessert (how could you?? but I saw a couple cake slices come out that looked amazing."

"Ok so I am not from Dallas but I am here on business for a week…decided to try this place with my mother and experience was not what the hype is about at all…waiter was great..lovely gentleman but the food??..I am a steak person so no matter where I dine I am going to try the steak..my steak had to be remade three times! I had two different managers bring my steak out and yet it still was rare so I gave up and ate it anyways since I haven’t eaten all day…and I didn’t even get my side order with it…smh…I really hate to do bad reviews but this one needed to be posted oh and after all this and waiting almost hour to eat I still get charged full price for my plate even though I didn’t even get served the plate that was on the menu…don’t waist your money here people…my mother didn’t even enjoy her food either..noodles very hard"

"This was my first visit to this restaurant. We ordered mozzarella marinara for an appetizer. It was excellent. I ordered cheese ravioli with marinara and baked mozzarella. We also ordered the garlic bread with truffle butter to go with dinner. Both items were not winners. The filling in the cheese ravioli was not very good. It had little flavor and a strange texture. The garlic bread was just not for me. I did not like the flavor of the truffle butter at all. They do bring a basket of bread to the table and that will be what we have next time. We also ordered coffee and the variety dessert. Both were good. The only one of the desserts that I did not like was the Tiramasu. The rest of them were delicious with the apple pastry being my favorite. For those of us who have limited mobility this restaurant had two features that are really helpful. First they have a family/handicap bathroom which is way easier to navigate than the big bathroom. Also, they have carpet along the path to get in and out of the restaurant. I can’t tell you how many times my cane slipped and I fell trying to navigate restaurant flooring. This is a huge deal for me. The only reason I took points off was because of the server. He was super slow and we had a long wait between each service. Also, I ordered lemon cookies to go and I never got them. He did take the garlic bread off of the bill that we didn't like but the service just wasn’t good."

"My fiancé made a reservation for our first official date after getting engaged. The atmosphere was very romantic. The service was outstanding, and the food met our expectations. They even made our day extra special by surprising us with a small dessert at the end of our meal. "I did a catering order from this perimeter mall location online for my Mom’s Celebration of Life. I have to say when I called the day before to confirm my order, I was a little nervous because they didn’t seem to know anything about my order. But the manager assured me everything was okay and they would be ready. They were so amazing they brought everything to my car and even supplied all of the serving utensils, plates etc. They conveyed their condolences and just made me feel like they cared. Everyone that attended the repast could not stop raving about the food. I will definitely use them again."

"After looking at numerous venues for our wedding reception, we chose Maggiano 's because good quality food was high on our list, and the banquet space at Maggiano 's in Schaumburg gives off a very romantic vibe with dark wood and beautiful chandeliers. Throughout the process of planning our wedding, time and time again my husband and I (and our wedding planner) were taken aback at our event coordinator (Andi) 's level of engagement with us, and flexibility on numerous aspects of the decor and the execution of our event. Andi did a great job of responding to our questions, and providing guidance and assistance when necessary. The night of, our reception went off flawlessly. The food was delicious, the wait and bar staff provided wonderful service, and Andi was there and ensured that everything went perfectly, plus the space looked absolutely beautiful. We are so happy that we chose to hold our reception at Maggiano 's."

"My group was visiting Philly for a day trip from NYC on a Sunday holiday weekend. We stopped at Maggiano’s for an early dinner, sat down around 4:45 and decided on what to order by around 5pm. It was a perfect time to get there, we had no issues with service or speed of food being brought out. Our waiter was very attentive. The food was wonderful! I had the Lemon Herb Salmon with a side of Sautéed Broccoli (listed in menu as Roasted Garlic Broccoli). My company had two of the pasta dishes with their own veggie sides we all completely cleaned our plates. One of us also had a Peach Bellini, which she also enjoyed. This was a perfect time to go because the restaurant was empty enough that we could have great service and a short wait time for our food. We chose to eat here prior to our walk back to The train station and if you have the time to do so, I highly recommend it! This meal was worth it and could definitely hold its own against some of NYC’s best Italian spots."

"Everything about my experience at this location was awesome. I've been to maggianos in Vegas and the Carolinas and had an amazing experience as well. But this location is the original and it definitely sets the tone. Very inviting, welcoming, whind down, chill ambiance setting. I went on a Thursday afternoon after shopping for a quick bite and got such personable service. I ordered crab cakes, lobster dip and chicken marsala with a red sangria and a spaghetti and meatballs to go..... all dishes were delightful."

"since the last time I had eaten here, it's about 15 years, but the experience was quite similar. eating was good, but not great. the service was acceptable, but there were some problems, such as asking for a location setting. the personal had a communication problem and someone wanted to move us to another table instead of just bringing a place setting. that was not long waiting for a place and eating came in a decent time, but strangely I received my salat before my meal, but the salat of my wife came with her meal. "I work in restaurants all over the country for a nationwide plant entrepreneur and have seen my fair share of commercial kitchens. My job has completely ruined food for me, but I can honestly say that I really enjoyed my time working on this place for people working here. Everyone was proud of their job and it shows. This place is clean and well maintained and this is usually not the case for a place that has been around since the early 2000s. I came in to refresh cooking and prep lines along with the resetting of some of the devices and devices to ensure the right standards. There was nothing they said, no, if it needed help, even the small items like sealing all food prep areas and adding a soap dispenser to the bar and sink. I would definitely not ask any questions to eat here at any time! The salmon c.c. was my favorite dish all I tried in this restaurant."
