"two in our party of three ordered from the brunch menu. the articles were crorque monsieur and oeufs al cocotte. each plate seemed to consist mostly of brot. we will not try again. the other person with us got the pesto chicken flatbread and a home salad. she said it was very good. we have eaten the flatbreads at earlier and found them excellent. also the side caesar or the house salads are great. we also enjoyed the brote served the table. cafe verona is one of our favorite spots. we were just disappointed by the brunch dishes we tried."

"Yesterday we ordered the carryout Valentine's Dinner for Two. We ordered on a sort of whim, but it turned out to be one of the best dinners we've had in a long time. Every dish was fantastic. "This is my favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. The first time I visited was a year ago and I was very impressed with everything. Tonight was my second visit and I was absolutely blown away. The service and food were just top notch. I had the calamari appetizer which was good, but the duck entree was outstanding. I just loved the cherries and dates that came with the duck, adding to a touch of fruity sweetness to the poultry. It's just perfect in my opinion. Even better was the extremely gracious and timely service that we received. Their entire team from our excellent server, Daniel, to the bus boys and food runners worked like a well oiled machine. It was impressive how they handled special requests with our party of 8 with all nods and smiles of acknowledgment, and it was all greatly appreciated. We sat in the patio and there are plenty of heaters to keep the area warm on chilly evenings. The light from the propane heater flames and the landscape lights make the outdoor space really lovely, inviting and intimate. One thing is certain, whenever we come to PSP, which is every year, we will be back."

"We were looking for somewhere to have dinner in Westerly and decided to try Ella 's. After an average meal with a very high price tag, my advice to others is to skip Ella 's and try somewhere else in town. We started our meal with a cocktail (French Connection and a mocktail. The cocktail was very small without the creative flavor I expected. The mocktail was light and refreshing. We got focaccia as an appetizer, which was very tasty. For the main course we got the Pig and the Fig, which the pork was actually quite under seasoned and boring but the potato was fantastic, and the scallops (wonderful! . So overall some of the food is quite wonderful but some things were kind of a miss. For the price of the food, my expectation is for it all to be wonderful. The other part of the dinner that has me not eager to return is the overall tone and feeling the staff left us with. As soon as we walked in, we felt unwelcome, like we were not the type of guests they usually have. I was at a table of four, all of us are in our late twenties/early thirties. We were dressed casual/business casual (no different than any other patrons there so I would say there was nothing notable about us except perhaps we were a bit younger? When we were shown to our table, the maitre d seemed unsure if they wanted to lead the way or follow behind which ended up being a bit awkward. The server insisted on telling us that the ladies order first here and was overall hyper vigilant during our meal, which is usually a good thing but it felt like they were looking for something to scold us about. I do not mean to say this person was unfriendly or unprofessional, but they seemed like a strict aunt that didn 't want any trouble in their house. Overall, we felt condescended during our meal and were glad we were too full for dessert because we were ready to leave! Ella 's claims to be a fine dining restaurant and I think it is. So long as your expectation of that is exactly how they do it, you should have a pleasant evening."

"Gravenstein Grill is always a luxurious pleasure. My family and I had Easter brunch there and it was great. We sat on the terrace, which had a beautiful ambience with a live guitar player and beautiful scenery. The food was delicious, but my only complaint would be for her fried eggs. I love casual eggs, but not everyone does, so I could guess to order eggs accordingly for your own taste. But the food and the drinks were great. And of course the service was spectacular. Our waiter was very personal and happy, which made the experience much more pleasant. This was my third time at Gravenstein Grill and I was not even disappointed."

"As I'm looking for this business on Yelp, I spotted the question of gender bathroom. (Other businesses must have it but this is the first time I see the question. I'm all for equality but what's the POINT of sharing the bathroom? My experience with shared bathroom so far hasn't been positive at places like Met Museum, etc.: bit scary to see masculine men in the little space. Wha't more, is they usually don't flush. So, to answer the question, I think it is No as of now. I'll def return, given the fact that bathrooms remain separate. The venue is great, except the valet courtyard parking do they really need the space and the service? The parking lot is just two steps away, and pretty empty. We sat outside, looking out to the cars and greens beyond. It's 88 degrees day but was comfortable. The service of the restaurant is really good, so is the food. We've Burrata and quinoa salads. For drink, we've Brooklyn draft and Clos du Bois Chardonnay all are delicious, especially the burrata. It is an event venue, with a hotel (on the second and third floor and many rooms for occasions."

"It was our first time to eat on the ranch. It was delicious and more food than we could eat for a meal. My husband had a ribbed steak and I had the salmon. He refused to eat any pages until he finished his steak. It was tender and beautifully spiced. The salmon was wonderful. We chose the garlic potatoes, roasted okra and sweet potatoes (we asked for the toppings to be on the side). They also had gluten-free rolls for me. Since my birthday, I had a free dessert, the chocolate cheese cake. My husband had the cream broil. We shared them and shared them."

"I just love this restaurant absolutely fabulous. First of all atmosphere was wonderful there was a gentleman playing Acoustic guitar with medleys of assorted music which was just wonderful to hear and have your meal with. Also everybody enjoy their cocktails unfortunately the foor photos below only represent a small portion of my parties meals. Therefore I will basically review my meal I had a trout which was accompanied with rice and spinach oh my goodness it was so amazing. The trout was juicy with a lovely crisp to it. There were almonds on top of the fish which was a perfect match absolutely delicious. The spinach was season well extremely fresh along with some wild rice which is made with perfection of added seasoning. The oysters were delish so yummy melting in your mouth everybody at the table said bravo for these beautiful babies. My cappuccino was fantastic, nice and bold coffee.... as you all know I dig my coffee and I just Loved the glass it was served in so sweet and cute. Please go to this place it's absolutely incredible."
