"I love this restaurant! that was my second time here and it was just as good as the first time. the staff is so friendly and helpful! the bartender is delicious and makes great cocktails. eating is delicious. I had the sea bass with a light lemon sauce. it was perfectly cooked and was moist and delicious. my man had the chicken cacciator and he said it was the best he ever had. we were friends and they loved their choices too."

"We came in for my husbands birthday. We had an reservation and were seated in the bar area upon our arrival. Both my husband and I chose to do the course meal. Everything was fine with our appetizer round. We then moved on to pasta. My husband was served his pasta nearly minutes before mine came out. We then waited minutes between the pasta and our main course. When our steaks arrived, mine was perfect. I had nice slices of steak. My husband received a plate with two very small slices of steak and a slice of fat and gristle. We had asked a floor manager if they could sent our waitress over when she had a moment. The manager asked how they could help and we commented on the difference in the plates and mentioned we had wait over two hours for our second and third courses and were a bit disappointed in his portion size for the price. The response from said manager? Well what do you want me to do about it? We then spoke to our waitress who brought over a second manager. This manager said they would fire up some more steak for my husband. minutes go by and we asked our waitress when the steak would be coming..at this point my food was cold from trying to wait for my poor husband. Our waitress checked with the kitchen and they hadn’t even started on the extra steak yet! We said to forget it and we would just move on to dessert. We had mentioned several times that it was my husbands birthday. This was supposed to be a special night celebrating but it was overall a huge disappointment. When you are spending plus dollars on a meal you shouldn’t have to wait hours or be served a sad plate of steak. The lack of concern from both managers and the poor customer experience makes us not want to come back."

"This was our first time dining at this local favorite. The Caprese salad and gorgonzola ravioli were fantastic. All was fresh, custom prepared, and tasted fabulous. All the seats were taken, and there seemed to be enough waitstaff, but all were working very hard, and the service suffered a little, possibly due to the hectic evening. Drinks took some time to arrive, and getting a knife for the second course almost didn't happen—we were almost done by the time the server checked on us after the kitchen staff delivered the meals. We were never asked if we wanted grated cheese, which I assume they had to offer."

"BACKROOM STEAKHOUSE in APOPKA? FAIL!!! Went here for dinner tonite...Three of us ordering Magical Dining menu, I ordered off the menu...My MEDIUM RARE NY Strip came out medium well...Their manager looked at it, admitted that I was right, and said he would have the steak remade...The OWNER came back and showed me the inside of the MEDIUM WELL steak, and said, This looks perfect...What 's the problem? I think it was the lighting...Do you want this? I said no, and asked for it to be recooked...I waited TWENTY MINUTES...everyone else at the table finished their meals, but mine was still a no-show. I asked our server and the manager...Both apologized, and said they 'd get it out ASAP...Never showed. I finally got up and told the manager to cancel it. The owner came up, put his hands on me, and said that there was nothing wrong with my steak, I said, TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME! He said, Don 't come back...I don 't want you in my restaurant ...They comped nothing, AND tried to add a 20% surcharge on the ENTIRE bill, including the bottle of wine and cocktails...They COULD have made this right, but chose not to...I will NEVER go back here. UTTER FAILURE!!!!!!! Here 's my dinner...PBJ at home"

"When we arrived the restaurant was not very busy maybe five or six tables. Our server finally appeared. The wait for salad was way too long and the entrée took almost 30 minutes to arrive. At that point, most of the tables were gone. We FINALLY flagged the waiter down and got our check. I would recommend Basta Pasta to my friends if they had a LOT OF TIME TO KILL. We have been going there for years this was the worst."

"Shame on Open Table. We have loved this restaurant, made a reservation for a birthday celebration, and arrived to find the restaurant closed and the contents liquidated. NO ONE CALLED. Luckily we contacted another restaurant who accommodated the party and we moved that location, albeit having a much later celebration that night. Someone should have called to let us know that the restaurant was no more and Open Table should have known this... Makes me question how well you stay in touch with your restaurants. "I’ve been here pre-Covid for a dine-in experience and the food was great.January 2022-I’ve gotten take out a couple of times. Both times the food was cold. (I live close to here). Today it took nearly 45 minutes to get a take-out order for three on a Friday night. Food boxes were mislabeled, one box given copious French fries, one hardly any. My burger was dead cold when I got home. I understand that the restaurant industry is tough work, but when you are paying over $50 for three sandwich meals there is a certain minimum standard one would expect. While I was there, someone walked out when given the totally wrong meals. I think this place needs to revisit the procedure for take-out.My advice is that you can get take-out from this quality restaurant, just try to avoid Friday and Saturday night."
