Well occupied compared to other places I had recently. It's really a family restaurant. It was great to see Sandy and her family on her side today. Go on. We will definitely go back."

"This could be a gem of a place but the night we dined, they were short on waitstaff , the food took a long time to get to our table and then seemed overdone. Unfortunately, it was too cold, otherwise, this looks like the perfect place for sitting outside on the patio with a view of the river, open air and energetic city vibes."

"I am an original boatbuilder of the replica half moon ship built in Albany and featured as a cover photo on this restaurant?s menu so I was excited to eat at this establishment. The atmosphere is vintage dinner appeal with lots of chrome highlights. Thedining area is spacious and able to accommodate moderate size groups of diners. The staff provides quick and efficient service.I selected a broiled fisherman?s plater that looked like a fair amount of food. The food however was tasteless and was obviouslyfrozen not fresh. The sole was cold on the bottom and not palatable. The scallops were absolutely tasteless and rubbery. Theclams were flavored only by the spices on it. What a shame to put this plate of food on the table. I spoke with patrons whomordered the same dish and reported a similar disappointment. This meal is neither something a person should eat nor should therestaurant try to pass it off as something to sell. Very disappointing experience for lunch."

I really enjoyed myself yesterday in saloon! the garnels on the bed of the creamy polnta were dreamy. so I had never had a polnta! also the truffle friries I am not always a big fan were great! the cocktails were equally impressive both in concept and taste. really enjoyed the amelia earheart and the pickle. I published a picture of the pickle on my social, and it has received comments from raised eyebrows. trust me, you have to try! our waiter (I wish I remembered his name) was also on point. I asked him to clarify what cream cheese washed gin meant, and he gave an informative and interesting explanation in my books, that is the sign of a great place. many thanks for a fun evening with great food, drinks, service and ambiente. I'll be back soon! (gave the 4 instead of 5 stars due to cost, but it was worth it, and won 't keep me from returning to the future for night of celebration and/or treat me or someone else)."

"Stopped in to Fado before catching a show at the Academy of Music the other night. My group of 3 arrived at 5:45 pm and found plenty of seats available. We started with the happy hour featured appetizers. The Cheese Dip and Wedges and the Mac and Cheese were excellent. The Fish Tacos were very good but lacked crunch. The Fried Goat Cheese was our least favorite appetizer...it seemed to be missing texture, contrasting flavor, something. We shared two sandwiches, the Bacon Cheeseburger Mor and the Fado Reuben. The burger was as good as expected. I found the reuben to be lacking in flavor. The marbled rye and the corned beef were both amazing but the cole slaw and Marie rose sauce had no flavor at all. They contributed nothing to the sandwich.The service provided by Eva was very good. Prompt and friendly."

"This was our first time at this location. It took over and hour to get our appetizers. The waiter seemed new and very confused. Refills were difficult to get. Then when our meals came, 3 out of the 6 of us had things missing. I’ve never waited over an hour for a salad before. The food however, was tasty once it came out. If you’re looking to grab a quick bite to eat, this is NOT that place. Waiter was friendly, however like I previously stated, very inexperienced."

"My husband and I recently tried the new breakfast menu at Somersett Grille and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns, while I opted for the eggs benedict with home fries. The portions were generous and the service was excellent. The only suggestion I have is that the home fries could use a bit more flavor, either through seasoning or a dipping sauce. Despite that, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the delicious food."

"Overall pretty good food, nothing to write home about. I had a hamburger that came with fries for $14.50. I thought this is kinda expensive for a hamburger, but I guess that's just the way things are nowadays. My friend had a wrap for $18, but it was a good size. "I wanted a big breakfast so I ordered the classic with a side of bacon and french toast. I also wanted decaf and o.j. It's funny because I drove past this place for years on my way to and from an old job and never have been inside. The breakfast is great, good atmosphere and I ate everything, when I got to the french toast, I literally said OMG! It melted in my mouth and was so good. Not sure what bread they use or batter but listen it's the best french toast that I've had. I asked for whipped cream. Nice little hidden gem. I will be back. They were pretty busy and I arrived late morning. Thanks for a great breakfast! the ladies there are very polite. I didn't look my best today and they treated me with kindness. Everyone was treated the same. If you haven't yet done so, please stop by to enjoy a meal."
