"Five Stars for Bucca di Beppo and Nicky's Stellar Service! My recent dining experience at Bucca di Beppo was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to our fantastic server, Nicky. From the moment we walked in, Nicky greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. Throughout the evening, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, ensuring our every need was met. Nicky's product knowledge was impressive. He patiently answered our questions about the menu, offering detailed descriptions and recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. He even helped us navigate the family-style portions, ensuring we ordered the right amount of food for our group. But Nicky's service went far beyond simply taking our order. He was genuinely interested in creating a positive dining experience for us. He anticipated our needs, refilling drinks before they were empty and clearing plates promptly. He even took the time to chat with us about our day, making us feel like valued guests, not just customers. His positive attitude and genuine hospitality were contagious, creating a truly enjoyable atmosphere for our group. He managed our table with ease, ensuring our food arrived promptly and that everything was to our satisfaction. He even surprised us with complimentary dessert, which was a delightful way to end our meal. Thanks to Nicky's exceptional service, our dining experience at Bucca di Beppo was memorable and enjoyable. He is an asset to the Bucca di Beppo team and a shining example of what excellent customer service should be. I highly recommend requesting Nicky next time you visit Bucca di Beppo for an unforgettable dining experience"

"I was really looking forward to dining at Eno Vino for our anniversary. I love the ambience and the sophisticated feel of the place. However, things did not go as planned. First, it was COLD where we sat. And I’m hardly ever cold! It felt like we sitting under an air conditioner vent. Second, I started not to feel well while eating the truffle fries. The fries tasted great, but possibly were too rich for me. Or maybe it had nothing to do with the fries. Anyway, now I can say that the bathroom is as attractive as the rest of the establishment. Thirdly, there was a gentleman seated with several friends at a table near us when arrived who was VERY loud. He didn’t just laugh loud, he talked loud. We didn’t think he was inebriated, he was just LOUD! We discussed moving, but you could hear him all over the restaurant, so I don’t think it would have mattered. This, of course, wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, but it added to our discontent In all fairness, the waiter was wonderful! We mentioned being cold and he said he would talk to management. He answered all our questions and was meticulous about checking on us and asking if we were ready for the next course. And when I told him we would like our food boxed because I didn’t feel well, he was right on it and had our bill ready when he brought out the boxes. My husband had a few bites of the center cut filet and said it was delicious (and that is high praise from him because he is particular about his steak). The only other comment I have is that three small plates and two sodas cost over They are upfront about it, but are charging a COVID fee of which contributed to the expense. I’d like to say, “We’ll be back”, but the prices may keep us away."

"June 9, 2018 We recently visited an upscale Italian restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and settled to visit an establishment called Buca di beppo in Sacramento, after reading some reviews online. This is a family style Italian restaurant, and on line reviews also looked good. As such, we trekked a distance to Buca di beppo for our special dinner. Having patronized many restaurants in the past, when we walked into the doors of Buca di beppo, we were deeply impressed of its grand welcoming by delightful staff members (Noah and Brendan) and its impressive and elaborate decor throughout the entire restaurant. It was like walking through Planet Hollywood seeing all kinds of memorabilia throughout. We even had the chance to meet the assist. G.M. manager, Scott Sagerdahl, who was truly the bomb! Scott was down to earth and personable, and even took time from his busy schedule to give us a personal tour of the restaurant. Everywhere we went, we were in awe, looking at old pictures and things on display. Buca di beppo is not only fancy; it's nostalgic, it's a museum, it's a monument of history, it's heart warming. Scott even told some stories of customers who came in and noticed pictures they were in, taken many decades ago, and even a military vet who broke down in tears after noticing an old army photo of him (AP) and his buddies in the service, where he is the only survivor today. These are powerful nostalgic memories. Overall, I can best say that Buca di beppo is not only an upscale Italian restaurant, it is an experience in its own category. We ordered our meal with the guidance of our server, Anna. Anna was wonderful and guided us through the ordering process and gave us recommendations. Needless to say, the service was great and the meal was terrific. Another unique part of our tour, was, that we were pointed out that we can choose and sit at a special table located in the kitchen of the restaurant. That is so cool, where we can enjoy our meal in a nice table and experience the ins and outs of the kitchen operation. Never seen anything like this before. Truly unique. Buca di beppo is a must visit for anyone who enjoys great Italian food, with a twist. Words and pictures are simply not enough to describe the ambiance of the restaurant. Like what they say, words can only say so much, and pictures can only show so much. But to actually gain a feel of the place, one must come and visit Buca di beppo and personally experience the grandness of this restaurant operation. Even Gordon Ramsey would be so impressed by Buca di beppo, so professionally managed by assist. G.M. Scott Sagerdahl; whom you can see the amount of passion he exhibits on running this wonderful restaurant. Bon Appetite!"
