"June 9, 2018 We recently visited an upscale Italian restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and settled to visit an establishment called Buca di beppo in Sacramento, after reading some reviews online. This is a family style Italian restaurant, and on line reviews also looked good. As such, we trekked a distance to Buca di beppo for our special dinner. Great experience food was amazing flavorful and delicious. Alejandro was very attentive and helpful. Seemed like they had some A/C issues, we were seated in the second floor, but service and food was great. Overall outstanding customer service. Definitely highly recommended.

Booked a table for what was supposed to have been a fun, family lunch, and I can honestly say that this was the worst meal that I have had in a very long time. What a disgusting parody of Italian cooking. No flavours, too much flour in the sauces, over cooked pasta. Lashings of white sauce, full of cream and cheap cheese is not Italian cuisine. Our server was terrific, lots of fun, but she could not make up for an extremely disappointing meal. We left the restaurant after a large bill incredibly dissatisfied. Never coming back here.
