"eating was perfect from start to end. that was worth unbelievable for what they give you. we started with tomato and mozzarella, which was delicious and they topped it with fresh basilikum and sun dried tomato. my son got the maple bacon 3 lg discs that were incredible! next curse I got the surf and rasen that were worth the $10 charged. my son has charged the 18oz porter house steak for 10 dollars. both steaks were perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. I ordered brokkoli w garlic and oil and my sohn got a huge basket of truffle friries. both sides were enough for 3 people. dessert was amazing. we have cheesecake and chocolate cakes that were both delicious. the bread basket was also amazing. can not wait to return because this is an amazing deal (price fix Sun-Wed.) so glad that we decided to go."

"Over priced and just average. For $200 a couple nothing less than great should be said about that experience. But it was not. We ordered steak medium rare. It arrived more medium and because it’s in a sizzling hot plate with the juices it continues to cook.  Service was very good."

"The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding; the staff is very accommodating! The diner is also handicapped accessible. I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner! Parking: The parking lot is spacious, with designated handicapped spaces for easy access to the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how kindly they treated my husband. While the exterior doors don’t open automatically, the staff were wonderful about holding the doors open for us, which is a big help for caregivers. "Was told this was the best steakhouse in Alton Illinois. So we gave it a shot. Children got a kids cheese pizza, and for $6 each the quantity and quality was pretty good, 5/5. Wife and grandmother got the shrimp scampi, both said it was kinda bland, but it is just a garlic butter sauce so I can see that. Shrimp was kinda light for the shrimp to pasta ratio, but enough pasta for two that was for sure, 4/5. I had the 6oz pepper loin with loaded baked tater. Potato was great in size, pepper loin might of been a light 6oz but plenty in flavor. Ordered a med got med well. Now the reason for the only 4stars. Noticed on ticket, we were up charged for things that were supposed to be included like strawberry vinaigrette, $4upcharge but was supposed to be included. And a 2.75% credit card fee. Kinda odd. I run my own business and don’t have to charge cc fees to cover just odd. Especially with no notice. Atmosphere is nice, but after 6pm seems to get rather loud, couldn’t hear the person two seats to my left without them yelling. Overall, wed give it another go, just withdraw cash first."

"We went with friends and were glad that it was restaurant week. First we had to ask for the special menu which is always annoying. Either you a participant in restaurant week or you are not. Ordered mozzarella and tomato app. Literally was served one slice of each. Pathetic. Ordered rib eye which was a $10 upcharge. Steak was awful. My friend said hers was inedible. Mine was horrible as well. Desert was flavorless. Worst part was the service. None. Had to wait 30 minutes for table to be cleared after the main course. Plenty of great steakhouses in and around great neck. Avoid this one at all costs."

"Take out order was complete mess. Food soggy. Pizza stacked on top of each other jammed in to go big made for a mushy pizza sandwich. No lid on appetizer, which I think is how rest of food and take out bag got saturated. "Everything about our meal and experience was TOP NOTCH. Came to OKC to see our son who’s stationed her for USAF and brought him to a nice dinner to celebrate. The guys started with Woodford old fashions, me a glass of cava. Our waiter, who we so sadly forgot his name (I know he was 25, a handsome African American man and he had twists in his hair which he wore up) was so charming and full of knowledge! He suggested starting with with the lobster-cargot which was SO yummy…reminded us of lobster bisque and the chunks of lobster were quite large. The fresh sour dough bread was excellent for dipping in the sauce from these. We ordered a bottle of my favorite wine, Machete, by Orin Swift. As in any restaurant, the wine prices are way inflated, but this was a special occasion so hey! Our server decanted the bottle for us table side and presented it beautifully. The guys did the large filets and the accompaniment sauces (Roquefort and peppercorn) were awesome! I did the NY strip with truffle foie butter and it was incredible! The broccoli and the bacon jalapeño macaroni and cheese were chosen for our shared sides and both were on point. Our son was given his choice for a complimentary birthday dessert and he chose a HUGE, yummy, warm, chocolate spice cake which was so good. Great experience here and we will certainly return!! Bravo Mickey Mantle’s!! Also please compliment our server, he’s so very wonderful!"

"We went for our daughters birthday on Sat of Sept We ordered the Pu Pu platter. A chicken dish, a porterhouse and a bacon wrapped fillet. The Pu Pu platter had assorted shrimp dishesmeat sticks and dumplings. One of the shrimp dishes appeared to be shrimp parm. It was a blob of tomato sauce with cheese on top. Unrecognizable just a blob of food that came out in one lump, not individual shrimp. The dumplings ware all I can say is slimy. Very strange. My porterhouse had absolutely no flavor, ho grill marks , no sear, nothing. It looked like it was take from frozen and put in an over. I also ordered a wild mushroom sauce, salty and gloppy. My daughters fillet was about the size of an egg and according to her tasteless also. I expect a restaurant that has the name of a steak in its name and server steak, to actually serve tasty food. Steer clear and don't waste your money. Oh and it wasn't cheap either. Really disappointing. Wont be back"

"My sister took me to The Clinton House for dinner last night. She wanted me to try the food for my birthday. We had to drive almost 90 minutes to get there. I doubted it would be worth the drive. I was wrong! It was fabulous! Our server was a delight. He was so friendly and attentive. I ordered the Beef Wellington. I have not had that particular dish in years because it tends to be hard to find. Loved it!! Added a side of the Mashed Potatoes. They were also very delicious. The whole experience was delightful and I'm now plotting how to talk my husband into making the 90 minute trip(each way) for our anniversary dinner. I have 3 months. I'm working on it."

"My husband and I have celebrated our anniversary there the last 6 years. Needless to say we have ALWAYS had superb food and service no matter how we were dressed.... Sonny's establishment hires some of the finest cooks and servers and upon talking to our server last night she stated it was one of the most supportive, and caring establishments she's ever worked for. Scott and I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and Beef Carpaccio SUPERB!! We then shared the Bacon Wrapped Filet, which was cooked to order and they didn't blink twice about us sharing a meal. When we first got there it was 5:30. Restaurant was totally empty and the staff was most accommodating. We ordered a flight of their Port Selection for desert and was not disappointed in the least. Once again, our server was quick in telling us about each glass and was truly thrilled in watching us savor each glass. By the end of the evening 2 hours later the restaurant was full (Scott and I like to watch how the staff interacts with customers), and the serving staff was interacting with each of their tables and the atmosphere was delightful. We highly suggest Sonny Lubicks and do not doubt you will have the meal of your life."
