"We could absolutely never have asked for a better wedding venue. Literally everything from start to finish was perfect. We originally booked the Cabin Lawn, which is a beautiful expanse of the greenest grass you've ever seen amongst the trees, but ended up having our ceremony in front of the water feature on the property after falling in love with that. Emma and Phil offered to set up appetizers afterward in an outdoor courtyard area for our guests to gather while my husband and I finished up photographs. Then, we made our way into the private dining room where we were treated to an amazing selection of food. Most of our guests ordered the Colorado filet--and everyone who did said it was THE BEST steak they'd ever had. We only had 14 people total, so opted for everyone ordering whatever they wanted off the dessert menu--you cannot go wrong with any of the selections from there. We went without any decor for the outdoor wedding because the venue itself is so stunning. The scenery is all you would ever need. The Little Room was the perfect size for our dinner, and we loved the original features of this building from the 1800s still preserved in there. In short, it was the perfect day due in large part to the beautiful and wonderful venue we found in the Greenbriar Inn. We also had the opportunity the day before the wedding to visit with Emma and Phil--they are some of the nicest people you would meet. We worked with Taylor in the months before our big day and she was great and very detail oriented. Lastly, Mike and the rest of the staff working with us that night were awesome. There are truly not enough stars for this venue!"

"SkyBar. We 've seen you in all different incarnations from celebrity hot spot to your pool parties to our mid week 'community pool ' getaway and every time your hospitality exceeds expectations and keeps us returning for more. For those of you who haven 't been I 'd describe it as a cocktail bar with a pool, as anyone (staying at the Mondrian or not) can come by for a drink and sit in a window booth overlooking the city of WeHo or to work on your tan poolside. Some might not think that 's novel but there aren 't many hotel pools you can relax at without being a guest or paying for a day pass. You 'll probably find your drink on their extensive cocktail menu but if not the bartenders can pretty much make anything from classics to whatever you can look up online (within reason). Prices are what you 'd expect for a hotel bar and keep in mind standard gratuity is now automatically added. The pandemic closed down the adjacent restaurant on the hotel grounds so currently the fare is from a nearby eatery that is delivered, however in mid January '23 a modern Mexican restaurant named Casa Madera (from the same group that owns Toca Madera and Tocaya) is debuting and should provide more options. In the winter SkyBar has the entire pool deck clear tented and it has a greenhouse effect going on so when it 's sunny outside (and no matter the actual temperature) it feels like summer never left including needing to dip in the pool to cool off we were literally sweating the day after Christmas. The tent also keeps out the weather, it poured on NYE for hours and the place kept dry. They 've recently installed a couple TV 's by the bar and bar seating to enjoy watching sports during the day.Their summer pool parties have become legendary with various promotional groups bringing in international DJ 's (typically house music) and it 's a see and be seen environment so you might want to lay off those carbs and salt. From Taylor at the door to Lo and Jaimes behind the bar to Jorge working his tail off, they are always there to make your visit more enjoyable and are just great people. Whether more towels are needed, you want your drink made with modifications or just make casual conversation you are completely covered without feeling like you 've inconvenienced someone.I 've read other reviews commenting on the big parties that are thrown here and those experiences depend a lot on the companies putting them on with a lot of factors in play, some are huge hits and some fall flat. I 'll say this about any evening out, it 's what you make of it, so come in with a plan to have fun and you will."

"I love this place. Chef really outdid herself this year. The sauces for the prime rib (some kind of wine sauce and ham (wow that cherry sauce! were out of this world. Wonderful food, gracious servers (every year I thank them for working on Christmas so that people like me can eat out and they unfailingly say, it is my pleasure . It used to be open for Sunday brunch but no longer. We have been going for Christmas brunch for at least 4 years. My ONLY issue is that the front desk always seems to be disorganized and a bit dismissive. I have never been seated earlier than 30 minutes after my reservation time. One year they brought us a glass of sparkling wine while we waited which was quite gracious and appreciated. This year they told us there would be a 10-15 minute wait (we knew that would be light as the people ahead of us were the 2pm to our 2:30 and still not seated--front desk woman was not very apologetic. What is more irritating is I had to check back with them after I saw another couple get seated as they walked up. 4 people at the front desk then looked at us, started talking to one another as I walked up to ask why we were not seated and viola, a table was ready. I don 't think it 's malicious, just wildly disorganized. I will be back next year because it 's such a great experience once you get seated. Please play Christmas or jazz or something dinner-like or bring back the piano player!"
