"My friend and I were in town to visit Drexel and decided to check this place out. We loved everything about the place, except for the food which was just okay. It's possible they were just having an off night and we'd be willing to try this place again. My friend ordered a salad which she thought was okay and I had the chicken and waffles. She ordered a beer and I got a glass of wine which our waiter helped me pick out (thank you! The chicken was great although I would have liked to have been given bigger pieces. The waffle wasn't cooked all the way through so I asked for another one which the waiter (who was awesome graciously brought out another one. That one was, unfortunately, the same way so the waiter ended up crediting me my meal (again, thank you! . We wish the food would have been great, but overall we were still pleased with this place and would give it another try :"

"my favorite place in south philly. big beer, great food, great people. I am here like 3 times the week. pete and dennis (owners/bartender) are super cool. the chicken sandwich, pop burger and wing in pete’s sauce are the kiss of the cook.* also I was never really one to order chicken fingers, but I get them all the time here because they are particularly good. I love pope!"

"Interstate Drafthouse is one of my absolute favorite spots to meet in Fishtown! You always have a wide selection of beer on tap and special drinks that you find nowhere else, but what really attracts me is the quality of your food! While their menu could look like standard bar fair, most of their dishes have a signature turn that they define in a way that defines the restaurant and stands it from other places. I personally recommend the buffalo flower bits and if you can make it there on a weekend for Brunch there Interstate Eggs Benedict is absolutely divine"

"My friend came all the way from Australia to visit Me, but was only able to be in Philly for one day. She is also a vegan, so I hyped up the Abbaye saying she could have the worlds best vegan cheesesteak, only to find they were closed for a private event which they did not make known to the public. We went completely out of the way to come here because they advertised being open. It's hard enough after covid finding a place open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and now you are this lazy you can't even tell people what your hours will be. I won't be back again because chances are you won't even be open. It's ashame to, I have been coming here off and on for years...not anymore. You have no one to blame but yourselves"
