"This little place is a home run for me and sushi in the Hayward/ San Leandro area. It's always just really good. It has roughly 10 or so tables. It has a huge parking lot. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the exhaust. Saw some friends after lunch and they could smell the fried food on me. Now yesterday we did sit near the kitchen so maybe it was that.....but I want to eat my Tempura not smell like I've been battered Special shout out to the waiter who was on duty 2/5 at about 2:30. Really nice attention to his customers. Did all the things that are really lacking at a lot of places these days. So Kudos thanks for making lunch pleasant and offering great service. For lunch we had.... Rocking Crawfish roll In: Crab meat, Soy Paper Top: Baked Langostino, Avocado, Tobiko Bonito Flakes w/Unagi Sauce it's absolutely my fav I get it every time. Poki Salad, Miso soup and the Soft Shell Crab. Soft shell crab was perfectly done. Sometimes it can be mushy but this was fried nicely and just had a nice flavor. The Poki Salad is really good. Super refreshing on a bed of cucumber. Miso soup was tasty it could have been hotter but it still filled my cold wet soul (it was raining I'm not dead inside) with joy and goodness. We also had the Ribeye Streak Bento. Steak was perfect. It comes with Rice, California Roll and a bunch of Tempura. Lastly we had the Tempura Dragon. It was really tasty. All in all a great experience! This should be your sushi experience if your in the San Leandro, Hayward, San Lorenzo area! You won't be disappointed Pics are below! Sadly I forgot the Bento Pic!"

"DO NOT BOOK VIA OPEN TABLE! They will NOT honor it. We went they Friday night and I have booked a table via OT for before the Zac Brown Band concert and when we showed up the person at the door stated “I’m suppose to tell all Open table customers that we Last call are not honoring any OT reservations. We tried to turn it off but for some reason it didn’t go through.” I saw table with “reserved” and asked if we could have that table and she said, “That is for an employee”. Umm ok. So we had no table and had to ask a group if we join them at their table. Then I read the rolling screen and it said ‘Friday HH, off on all flatbreads’ yum. Ordered one and we ordered margs, my husband asked if they could put a splash of on in it and she said “well they are premade so I will have to ask”. Ummm ok. She then took minutes to bring our drinks. My husband saw she was chatting with the ‘reserved employee table which was next table over then she finally got our drinks and said “I’m so sorry it took so long, the bartender at this pointing service bar sooooo slow. He works his bar first then maybe he’ll get to ours”. Ummm ok. When the bill came, the flatbread was full price. That’s it! I asked for the manager and this young came by and said he was the GM. We went through all our complaints and he told us “WE DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH OPEN TABLE.” When we the serverhostessbeer tender, told us are not honoring OT he continued to state quite loudly they don’t have an account. So I showed him my reservation through OT, he was surprised. After all the conversation he said he’d take of our bill to which we said no that is not why we were speaking to him, but he insisted. Over all, I have NEVER had a restaurant deny our Open Table. Then say they don’t even have an account with Open Table. We had a great time at concert"
