"I get sushi from here for lunch quite often. It 's not a fancy place, think 'local Chinese food restaurant ' but for Japanese food. Currently they only do delivery or takeout, no available seating. For what it is, it 's one of my favorite sushi spots for lunch takeout. Food tastes fresh, and it 's good price."

"I love sushi, and I've been to allot of restaurants throughout the bay, and I gotta say that Nikko Sushi is probably my favorite place now. The service is ridiculously on point. The staff all greet you as soon as you walk in, and they're all so warm and friendly. The food is wonderful! We got the baked scallop roll, the raiders roll, the Lion King roll, and an appetizer of shrimp tempura. We also ordered some sake, because it was $1 an order, which consisted of about 4 little cups worth, and they also brought us miso soup. It was all so amazing!! I can't wait to go back, I really recommend this place!"

"Have been here many times and it is decent for the price, not amazing not terrible but no real issues. Tried to place an order to go today, their online orders stop at 10 though they are open until 10:30 and I missed the window as I was placing my order so I just went in to place the order instead. Hours on the door state open until 10:30, walked in at 10:13 and they refused service stating that last call is 10:15. It will take me a while to come back, honor your hours or change the time on the door"

"See you tomorrow! As far as I know, this place started that here in Oceanside. Been coming here for years for the rolls special. This place makes the best rolls with lemon and has pico de gallo on rolls. I go to LoveBoat for my quick local nigiri fix, but this is my go-to for rolls. Go during lunch and get the special roll combo for $18. Get the baked mussels, soft shell crab, beer and hot sake. Good simple lunch date or date night. Don 't order the nigiri! Know your restaurants and get what they do best! Lemon Flash, Sombrero and It 's That Hot rolls are amazing!"

"I had this place on the list places I wanted to try for a long time. When I walked in and looked at the menu I first shocked by the high prices because it's by no means a high end place. It's very casual and seemed too expensive. I thought maybe it's high because it's very fresh and good, after trying it, it was the opposite. It's was old fishy and the cuts of fish were so chewy fat and thick. It was disgusting and not worth it at all. We got cooked salmon and asked for grilled salmon with nothing on it, they gave us old thin deep fried salmon that was terrible. When we tried to tell the workers that the food was gross and inedible the owner came and screamed in our faces telling us we were wrong. I had to wipe the spit off my face because they were screaming so close. All in all a terrible experience. He screamed for such a long time and wouldn't stop. It was appalling. Horrible food terrible service the music was so loud and sounded like we were in a club. I wouldn't go back if you paid me."

"We ordered sushi from this restaurant. Unfortunately, there were some cons. The packaging was disappointing as the special rolls were thrown into the container without much care, with two pieces not even being cut properly. Additionally, there was a lack of fish compared to rice for the price paid. The utensils provided were of cheap material with splinters, making them unpleasant to use. The amount of soy sauce provided was also lacking, despite requesting extra. However, there were some pros as well. The staff was polite and helpful, and the order was quickly prepared. The sushi itself was delicious. Overall, despite the good qualities, I would not choose to return to this restaurant."

"I hate to write bad reviews but I though maybe I?ll help the owner to know the quality of the food was really bad and not appealing at all. The chicken has after taste in the chicken ramen and wings see picture And the whole thing has nothing todo with Japanese food. Plus the hot green tea normally served in the hot pot here you get small cup only for $2.75 ."

"This place is a hole in the wall for sure. I took a trip to the bathroom waiting on my food and was hoping the condition of the bathroom was no indication of how the food was going to be. It wasn't. Do the all you can eat sushi! It's $22.99 per person andeveryone at your table must do it for you to be allowed to. The rolls are all freshly made and tasted great. Comparable to MKs.definitely give this place a try. And it's BYOB so bring your own wine, beer or Saki! Enjoy"

"It took 45 minutes when we said 20. Veggie tempura and alterashi tofu were dripping with fat, no taste. Veggie Sushi Roll was ok, nothing unusual outside the presentation. Husbands sushi was either deep fried or covered with Bbq sauce. Everything shattered together, almost unrecognizable. Hot foods full of cold. I hope that's not the standard. Dogs seem to enjoy."

"Special sushi reels are delicious and exquisite, price is up, just a warning, expect to spend $40 for three beautiful reels, see picture) but the service makes it WORTH IT. My little sister talked about the fact that it was difficult to work with chipsticks and expects our waitress came back with two chipsticks, which had penetrated with something in between, which worked amazingly. "I don't think I've ever been to a Thai restaurant. Stunning on them looking for sushi and decided to try them for lunch based on reviews... Food was spectacular. The restaurant itself is almost soothing, just to eat. Def will return. Ginger Salat was delicious. Teriyaki Steak Box was delicious. The lunch was perfect and I starved. Go to start eating more so instead of fast food restaurants!"
