"Our server could not have been more beautiful, faster or more attentive. The food was freshened and was delicious. We ordered the house special shrimps that were very large, perfectly fried and had a rich slightly spicy sauce with vegetables, salt pepper Calamari with sautéed jalapeños onions perfectly cooked jasmine rice and we got a free soup that was delicious."

"Sure it's a food truck. Come here for the best fish chips you've ever had. It's brilliant at what it does fries cod in a light flavorful crust. The shrimp were also delicious as was the chowder. Gotta assume the calamari was also outrageous but we ran out of room."

"The dim sum is mostly hits and some misses. The service is by far the worst I've experienced in San Mateo. Every employee is either too busy to talk to customers or clueless about what they should do. Many dishes came without the appropriate condiments and each time it took a long while before someone stops pretending they don't see you and bring it to you. No chance I'm coming back here."

"This restaurant wasn’t much to look at from the outside, and it wasn’t very busy inside mid afternoon for a late lunch, but the service and food were great. The interior decor has been remodeled, full bar too. Our booth had a plug for phone charging or laptop campers. It would be more popular if it were on the main strip, but I like finding good places that aren’t swarmed with people."

"Very good food especially for the price. Extremely busy 20 minutes after opening. A wide selection of dishes. In the middle of the soft opening so service was a bit out (from the order), but still prompt service. The owner replied, but this was meant as a compliment, as it is a gentle opening and although the dishes were out of order, it was still very fast and most arrived within 5-10 minutes."
