"I took a friend there for her birthday and we got superb service from Shelby! She made sure it felt special and checked on everything we could possibly need. A true rockstar! Also it smelled like laser tag because of some drink they were making and it made everyone smile. Bacon in a glass is a must. (Traducido por Google) ¡Llevé a una amiga allí para su cumpleaños y recibimos un excelente servicio de Shelby! Se aseguró de que se sintiera especial y revisó todo lo que podríamos necesitar. ¡Una verdadera estrella de rock! También olía a laser tag por alguna bebida que estaban haciendo y eso hizo que todos sonrieran. El tocino en un vaso es imprescindible."

"Every year for the past 10 years we celebrate my sons bday in this special place. We stay overall at Kalahari so it is super convenient and really good. We love it and we will like to continue celebrating in this special place as long as the kid want to be with his parents"

"The service was fantastic but the food was just ok. And for the amount of money that we were charged, it just wasn’t worth it. We order three filets, one 8oz and two 4oz, and the two smaller ones were just not good pieces of meat that they tried to dress up. They were so thin that there was a bottom and top but no middle. I noted in the reservation that it was a Special Occasion but that was never acknowledged or even asked about. Last but not least, the wine list was extremely sparse. Surprising if the ‘wine’ is your foundation. I won’t be going back."

"Amazing gluten free items!!! For a large party this is not the place to be. There was also an event going on when we came in for my husbands bday dinner. Now how waiter u could tell be was overwhelmed by our party and other tables he was dealing with. They should or had him solely on our table. Drinks we not being filled, side dishes missing, my order needed a refire which took almost 30min to remake( it was a steak) which came out raw so idk if it was careless from the kitchen? By the time my food came out and the table was already finished and I was over my meal. It sucks bc the food here is soooooo amazing I love coming here and will still just never again as a large party. No joke everything on the menu is delicious. The manger who was working that night really didn't seem to give a s by her tone of speaking to us. Yeah we got the new desert for free even tho we already said we wanted to Order it lol. This is a great place to eat like after a round of golf Or date night just not a large party."

"that was our second visit to docs. it was one of the only places we could reserve for Saturday night in the sea island. the service was very good, our waitress was attentive. we ordered a lot of apps for dinner and a large single tito w club. the drinks were $9.50 each! You have to **** me. for a single high? the apps were all fritted and delicious, although a bit greasy. Don't think we'll see each other again. if you go, just don't drink."

"My sister has been raving about this restaurant for a while now. I am so honored I was able to eat their food. We were celebrating my brother-in-law’s 40th birthday, and everything was perfect. I had the house salad, the ravioli dish, and the crème brûlée. Everything was fantastic. The ravioli was perfectly Al dente, the filling was delectable, and the sauce was perfection. The crème brûlée was delicious. The only feedback on the crème brûlée is I would prefer to have a better berry to crème brûlée portion ratio. Other than that, it's perfect! We will definitely be back!"

"After spending a day at the Charleston Navy Yard and then up at Bunker Hill, we decided on an early dinnner. The closest place was (thankfully) downhill all the way on Pleasant street, a relatively easy walk. On a Tuesday afternoon at about 5 pm, we found the Warren Tavern not at all crowded and we were quickly seated in the room to the left after entering the front door (there was also outdoor seating). We had the room to ourself and took some time to admire the old thick beams in the construction and the provincial decorations. Our seat by the window also overlooked Main Street and it was nice just to watch the people and traffic go by on that beautiful afternoon. We both had the clam chowder, which was quite good, although perhaps not the absolute best we had while in the Boston area. We also both had the short rib shepherds pie, which turned out to be a hearty and tasty entree. Indeed, it was difficult to finish the dishes, since they were so filling. Dinner for two came out to just under $60, not including tax or tip. We didn't see any dedicated parking for the Tavern, and Pleasant Street is narrow and appears to be one-way. That wasn't a problem for us this visit, since I'd left our car at the Nautica parking garage (over near the Navy Yard), after dinner it was simple enough to walk the couple of blocks back there, collect the car, and then drive back to the Tavern to pick up the other member of our party waiting out front. Overall, a good meal in an attractive old building. I'll look forward to visiting again when we're next in the area."

"The service was good and they were attentive to my son with allergies, but the food was beyond bad. Calamari had more hot pepper pieces than actual calamari and my halibut was awful, over cooked and tasteless. Just a really underwhelming dining experience."

"my friend and I went to dinner and drinks in this restaurant. after that, we wanted to sit outside in the open fireplace. there was a group of 4 women who were there. when they were asked if we could sit around the fire pit, they said no, they had private talks. When we returned an hour later, we hoped that their “private conversation” had ended. they said that we still have “private conversation”. the manager asked us, “leave”. we were asked to leave the restaurant and would not be served. wow, I'm sorry we wanted to share an open fire pit! like rude of these two driving women and a manager who had no respect for us."

"The food was amazing. Our first experience with The Tavern was the location around street or that area and the feel was homey and nice. The staff was incredibly friendly and our waitress was funny and super nice. The Leawood location does not feel like that, it’s not memorable, it just feels like a random American food restaurant you can find on the plaza. The host was nicer than our waitress however she seemed like something was bothering her. Our waitress was rude and was acting impatient as if she had something else to be doing"

"The food at Toro was excellent. I had the Havana Roll and the Rainbow Tropical Roll and both were excellent. I also had their heirloom tomato and burrata saladâ very good. My father ordered the wedge salad scallops and Pork belly entree which he enjoyed quite a bit. It was very very loud inside the restaurant so we found our conversation overpowered by the ambient noise level. When we asked if we could move outside they said they were not able to accommodate due to the incoming reservations specifically requesting outside tables. However, throughout the entirety of our meal there were several open, unseated, tables outside. Toro would be a great choice for a large, energetic party. I would not recommend it if youâre wanting an intimate dining experience."

"The breakfast was decent. The flavors were good, but both of us ordered eggs Benedict and all four of the poached eggs were overcooked. The service was awful. The server seemed distracted at first and then disappeared altogether. (Fired, quit, hungover? Who knows, but for 15 minutes we were left sitting there with empty glasses, wondering what was going on. Paying $120 for breakfast for three people is quite pricey, especially for a less than satisfactory experience. I highly doubt I will be returning."

"We came for NYE dinner and our meals was to our satisfaction. Buffalo Shrimp appetizer hit the spot for me, especially as a pescatarian and someone that only eats fish and other types of seafood. My husband and brother ordered the pork steak meal and I ordered the lobster ravioli. It was everyone’s first time coming here for dinner and we plan to return."
"Absolutely amazing!! One of the best burgers I had! Great atmosphere and beautiful location as well. Drinks here are amazing. Very recommended!!"

"The food is great but there were a few issues of concern: Geezers adds 2.95% to the bill, the servers at our table put drinks anywhere on the table without regard to who ordered which drink, servers reached across my plate of food to serve others while I was eating my dinner, and the weekend seating policy was not made clear during the call to make a reservation (other than they do not accept reservations on weekends) but we were told to arrive 30-minutes early and then we had to stand around waiting for a table until everyone arrived. Like so many other businesses I am sure that Geezers has struggled to replace their pre-COVID staff and it probably didn't help that the restaurant was crazy busy. Again, the food is excellent and we plan on going back again to work our way through their menu."

"This restaurant isn 't bad, but it 's not great! My overall experience was affected by the very small foyer through which everyone exits and enters. It is very narrow, and would only accommodate about 3 or four couples, at most. You are faced with the host desk, and immediately behind it is a wall that blocks your view of the interior. It almost makes you feel like they don 't want you to enter. The restaurant was not very busy when we were there, and I can 't imagine how claustrophobic this area would get on busy nights with pick-up activity and seated guests. The seating areas, however are quite spacious. I ordered the Korean short rib, with Sesame Spinach and Kimchee fried rice, It was average, at best, the Kimchee was hardly noticeable. The serving size was vey large. There is apparently another smaller portion available, but my server did not mention that to me. My wife had short rib tacos. They were much more flavorful. Our server was adequate but not overly engaged. There is a happy hour menu, and we thought we 'd like to order an item or two from it, but we were informed that it 's only available in the bar area. That isn 't specified on the website. So, not a thrilling evening. This was our first visit to this location. We have eaten at other locations owned by the same group. I would say that they were better than the Avon property."

"We enjoyed brunch on Sunday. Am still learning which tables are quietest, a big factor in my enjoyment some of the tables are better than others. By the door are some tables tucked in under a low ceiling these are good, and I imagine when the upstairs is open, that is also good. There are several corner tables which are quieter also. Food was good, although things seemed a bit more complex than they need to be maybe balancing the menu more with some complex and some traditional or straightforward dishes would be good. Lobster stew had a lot of lobster in it, but the claw meat also had some tendon pieces that should have been removed. Carrot cake was over the top, with unnecessary additions like way too much frosting, and pumpkin mousse a simple carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is just fine. Location, ambiance and service are wonderful."

"Situated in Old Town Monrovia across from the theaters this little eclectic find is an awesome taco bar! Come for happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and enjoy Tacos, Nachos and other Spanish dishes at happy hour pricing. Margaritas with Tajin on the rim come Classic, Mango, Strawberry or Pomegranate. All are very refreshing. The Street Tacos are full of flavor and just the right amount of nourishment. Happy Hour menu also includes a Kobe Slider with Pepper-Jack, Queso and Chorizo. A Short-Rib Quesadilla, Ceviche Tostada or a Tempura Shrimp Taco. Are you hungry yet? How about a Mediterranean Chicken Bowl with avocado, feta cheese, cucumber, kalmata olives, brown rice, served with tahini and balsamic sauces or enjoy a Blackened Salmon Taco with sliced avocado, roasted chiles, corn salsa, slaw and crema. Enjoy the bar and music, or eat on the outside patio and people watch the foot traffic, or bigger parties can enjoy their meal on the back outside patio. Service is friendly and you are almost certain to bump into a friend. There is parking on the street if you are lucky or park in the Public Parking Lot off Lime Street in the back by the Police Station. Stroll up and down Myrtle and browse in shops. There is a hand made ice cream store two doors down for a dip of coolness before heading back to the car. Farmers Market is on Fridays from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, if you so desire before or after your visit to Sena. Sena is one of my personal favorites."

"Very fresh and delicious! We have the crispy chicken salad, but with shrimps, and the ulcered chicken sandwich. Very good favor, but the dressing was a little thick and there was no ton of avocado on the sandwich, but it still had a lot of good taste. The corn casrole thing was south-west flavored and ok I think if you added some tortilla strips above or some crispy it would be good. Other complaint was the terrace tables were too close together and it was so quiet and unpleasant to talk, and they accused me nine dollars to replace three shrimps for the fried chicken on the salad, my guilt I guess not to ask, but I guess it could not be more than 5. This made a $14 meal in a $23 that I was still hungry after dinner : But the service was nice and the food was good overall."
