"Was looking for a good spot to get mussels after 11 which is pretty difficult came upon this spot on yelp and tried it out the mussels were great didn’t even stop to take a picture sorry , the ambience is Kool and rich in a Caribbean kind of way like it’s on an island tropical themed environment and Spanish music playing a lil loud but it’s Kool I can hear my lady from across the table I definitely will return to this spot"

"Manny is “DA MAN”.... He has a great personality and a beautiful heart. We love him, and that was our first time we visited the restaurant. It feels like home. If you had an Italian mother, you know how that is: my colleagues were informed. This is the place to eat. You don't have to go anywhere else. Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. Pam, you're wonderful. I love you having a lot of food and for the price. It is definitely not like other restaurants and you get only a small amount of food. Gooooo Manny Goooo. But don't go"

"We came in from out of town and our relatives were proud to take us to this old line restaurant near Joliet. The same family has been serving great food for 60 years, if I remember correctly, still in the old house where it started (with many additions over the years). They are famous for their giant poorboys and high quality meats. The hostess and servers handled our large group (late 70's to baby) with courtesy and efficiency. You'll enjoy it."
