"My friend and I went on a busy Saturday night right before Christmas. The food was absolutely amazing! The waiter first forgot our garlic bread, but when I asked for it again, he got it without hesitation and it was taken off from our bill. Our server was beautiful and attentive, but not overlaid or pushy. It was about $90 for two people and it was good. We really only go into a nice restaurant once a year, and I'm very glad we chose Mannino. I can't wait to return! I have special occasions for friends come and I plan to get them all gift cards!"

"Came here on a gloomy, cloudy day and it was the perfect dose of comfort food. This place has been around since 1904 doles out classic Sicilian dishes. My friend whose colleague recommended we come here suggested the squid salad, octopus salad sardine pasta. These were all excellent dishes and a the sardine pasta has a unique, balanced flavor that I somehow crave now even though I don't like sardines usually. We also added classic spaghetti bolognese pork chops to satiate ourselves. Definitely suggest doing this family style sharing because how can you not want to sample the abundant menu. "The food was spectacular and well worth the price, as a group of four we had the duck, lamb, watermelon salad, and filet mignon and tried each others dishes. The server, Demetrius, was absolutely wonderful, he was very attentive and very enthusiastic. For desert we had the cheesecake and chocolate truffle. The cheesecake was amazing. We are going back and hoping to have the pleasure of meeting Demetrius again."

"We went to Irene’s on a recommendation from my brother who is a chef. It did not disappoint! The cioppino was outstanding with tons of seafood and a nicely heated spice to the broth. It truly was the best I have ever had! My husband had the local fish almandine. It was a very nice piece of fish with green beans and whipped sweet potato. We started with a lightly battered soft shell crab that was a real treat. Maybe my only suggestion is to have a little more of the brown butter on the side. And lastly we ended with the bread pudding which was delicious. The service was outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful. Wish we were lucky enough to get the courtyard but we had our own little room which was quaint. Thanks for making our time special."
