"We went to Irene’s on a recommendation from my brother who is a chef. It did not disappoint! The cioppino was outstanding with tons of seafood and a nicely heated spice to the broth. It truly was the best I have ever had! My husband had the local fish almandine. It was a very nice piece of fish with green beans and whipped sweet potato. We started with a lightly battered soft shell crab that was a real treat. Maybe my only suggestion is to have a little more of the brown butter on the side. And lastly we ended with the bread pudding which was delicious. The service was outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful. Wish we were lucky enough to get the courtyard but we had our own little room...
