"Directly opposite the pier in Newport Beach, 21 Oceanfront is like a step back into time. The decor recalls old school-dining clubs with black stands and smokey colors. As one of the most romantic restaurants in O.C. to enjoy the sunset, this restaurant is located in the historic McFadden building. With impressive views and equally impressive food, I can see why it is so popular. All dishes were excellent, and although they are also known for their steaks, our party for seafood decided. The service was impeccable, the menu had a nice selection and the birthday cake was decadent. I recommend the crab cake, probably the best I have eaten so far (not shown). And, I would skip the truffle mac and cheese, although tasty it was missing to be very cheesy and more like truffle seasoned pasta."
