"I ordered one dish and found the food to be good, the service fast, and the staff pleasant. I have never had any major issues, and when I did, they were handled nicely. I know prices have gone up due to supply issues and current circumstances, but it still may be a bit expensive. Overall, it's a good place and I would recommend it."

"I was working in the area and passed by this deli the day before, so I decided to give it a try. There were plenty of food options available. The owner was very friendly, and our food was good – the rolls were fresh, and the eggs and bacon were not overcooked. The prices were also reasonable. The dine-in area was cozy and there was street parking in front of the restaurant."

"Inconsistent with food. First time we tried them 2 weeks ago it was good. The meatball parm sub was perfect and correct portions of meatballs for 14 sub. Pizza was good.Last night ordered the same meatball parm sub and it was sub-par at best. No taste, very little amount of meatballs in sandwich, barely any cheese mostly eating bread. Pepperoni Pizza would have tasted better with more Pepperoni. Ordered muscles marinara, medium spice, lack of flavor and used Prince Edward green muscles that I believe were previously frozen. Tasted like rubber and hard to chew, over cooked. Black fresh small tender muscles are always used whenever ordered from other establishments. Sorry for the bad review, however I hope this improves."

"I always drive by this place and have been wanting to stop. Finally had some time today. Is it the best bagel in Jersey? No, but it's pretty good. Ordering and getting food was super fast. "The wings and pancakes are fantastic! This was our second visit here; we first came two years ago during a conference. We were staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites, and the hotel recommended this restaurant. This time, while on another trip, we chose to stay nearby again so we could enjoy more delicious offerings from Peter's. The menu has a wide variety of options, and the specials are excellent too."

"I grew up getting the pepperoni pizza sub from this place, and although it’s been years since I had one, the one I had today was very disappointing. First, the woman making the food did not have gloves on which should be required when making and serving food. Second, the pepperoni in my sandwich had the skin on which was very unappetizing to eat. It is stringy and almost plastic like and tough to chew. I ended up having to take the whole sandwich apart so that I could peel the skin off of each slice of pepperoni. And lastly, there was barely any cheese on the sandwich. Very disappointing and will not purchase again."

"I love places like this a local dive. Cutlery doesn't match, the place needs a rehab, but the food is good, the service friendly and fast and the prices decent. The bathroom is clean which implies that the kitchen is clean as well. The pies and ice cream are great too. Now, to my ratings the atmosphere is either a one star or a five star if you like places where locals hang out to eat, then this is a five a tourist would rate this a one. This'll be my go to place when I'm in the area."

"Stopped in at Howard's the other day on my way to work (not my normal spot, but I had an early appointment up the road). Despite a couple of older poor reviews, I found the place totally acceptable. When I got there there were a few people waiting for their orders, but I was greeted and the young lady took my order quickly. As the orders came out there was never any confusion and the guy was friendly...a couple of the people who came in after me were clearly regulars and didn't even need to order the young lady jumped to get their regular orders. As I waited I wandered around the place and it was extremely clean, well lit and welcoming. I will day they are a little more expensive than other places I go and their bagels are a little smaller than other places (less calories is ok when I'm getting a sandwich so I didn't mind), but overall it was a great sandwich and a good experience."

"this place was so delicious! we knew there would be a long wait (we were told two hours, but ended up only waiting one) so we got there a bit earlier than we wanted to eat. we enjoyed drinks and the beautiful views from the upstairs lounge before being seated downstairs. everyone was very nice and accommodating and the food was wonderful!"

"Very unhappy with this place. Gators used to be the place to go on the weekends. Always had great food and beer. Tonight they had 4 bartenders and still Took 20 mins to get a drink and Was told by a bartender “To go to the other bar to get a drink we don’t have any glasses or cold beer” in a very nasty way like it was my fault. The other bar only excepted cash which I didn’t have. I had a open tab with my cc at the main bar. The food made my girlfriend very sick to the point we had to leave. Very said to see this bar go downhill. Definitely won’t be in business very long."

"Promptly seated by the host. Cathy (Kathy) was a sweetheart! Super job! On the ball, and a lot of laughs. Cozy, comfortable, though not a huge place. Outside seating is available. Chicken waffles was well received. Crisp, light coating on boneless breasts. Waffle divided in 4 triangles. Western omelet was a first time try ever and was very tasty. Nice variety of fruit on the side. The Conway County skillet was a great choice. Savory, crisp hash browns, and eggs just right. We'll be back!!"
