"The menu offers a blend of German and American cuisine, which I personally love. I ordered the escargot stuffed in white mushroom caps, topped with generous amounts of roasted garlic and butter—absolutely delightful! The Bavarian combo plate was just a touch too salty for my taste, but the Wienerschnitzel a la Holstein was perfect, garnished with a fried egg, plump anchovy fillets, and fresh capers. The potatoes were wonderfully buttery, the sautéed spinach was divine, and the sauerkraut had just the right amount of tangy fermentation to keep me coming back for more.
I also enjoyed the lentil and bean soup of the day. Though I'm typically not a fan of blue cheese dressing, this version was worth licking the plate clean! I wish I had more room for dessert, but I guess that just means I'll have to return soon!"
